A Battlefield 6 Season 1 map seems to have leaked onto the web via a 10-minute video. The leak seems to be legitimate, and further cements prior evidence that two Battlefield 6 maps will be set in California.
Despite the usual restrictions set on playtesters, content has been leaked from Battlefield 6 regularly in the lead-up to its official release. Most of these leaks seem to have come from the Battlefield Labs program, which gives players access to portions of the game for testing purposes. Unfortunately for the game's developers, leaks have regularly revealed elements of Battlefield 6 that the developers wanted to keep under wraps, but fans of the franchise have been enjoying the sneak peek.

Battlefield 6 Leak Reveals Season 1 Map
Now, a leaker going by Misaka_Mikoto_01 has shared a ten-minute video showing off a map that will apparently be available in Season 1 of Battlefield 6's full release. The map appears to be called Blackwell Field, set in Kern County, California. The environment includes things like oil rigs, an airport landing strip, rocky hillsides, and a small town. The map looks to be set at around sunset, with a cloudy open sky and shimmering pinks and oranges near the horizon. The leaker largely gave a look at the code-named Badlands map, but also a brief peek at another called Eastwood, which is also set in California.
Unfortunately, the original video that was shared of this leak has been taken down, so fans won't be able to see it for themselves. However, the fact that EA sought a takedown so quickly likely means that the leak is legitimate. The leaker also seems to have a strong track record as well, with the same person also leaking first looks at the Battle Royale gameplay in Battlefield 6.
As October draws closer, Battlefield 6 fans are becoming more hyped for the game all the time. While the developers would surely prefer that these leaks didn't make it to the net, they have helped to keep the game in the public eye in the lead-up to the release date. These leaks, in combination with official reveals from the game, like the fact that Battlefield 6 will have more grounded cosmetics than competitor Call of Duty, have only added to the anticipation. With some luck, Battlefield 6 will deliver the experience that fans who have grown weary of modern Call of Duty are looking for.
