Battlefield RedSec is here, and with it comes yet another free-to-play Battle Royale title, one that might just be one of the unique takes yet. With classic mechanics paired with Battlefield’s signature cinematic flair, those jumping in are sure to have a blast as they battle their way toward victory.
Battlefield RedSec has plenty for players to uncover, whether it’s completing missions, upgrading gear, or hunting down Custom Weapons to boost their chances of winning. However, some of the most powerful tools players can get their hands on are tanks and other vehicles, which are surprisingly easy to obtain. Here’s how to access Vehicle Trailers in Battlefield RedSec.
All Camos in Battlefield 6 & How to Get Them
Battlefield 6 brings a unique Mastery Camo grind for players to embark on. Here is how to unlock every camo in Battlefield 6.
How to Get a Vehicle Keycard in Battlefield RedSec
Before players can even begin to access the Vehicle Trailer, they must first get their hands on a Vehicle Keycard. Vehicle Keycards are awarded to players for completing missions, which become available after the first few minutes of the match.
Missions can be accepted by opening your map, viewing the available missions listed on the right side, and then selecting Start Mission. However, in RedSec, the rewards you receive appear to be random, with the rewards visible before accepting the mission. Not every mission will reward a Vehicle Keycard, so you may need to complete a few before landing one that does.
Once you have a mission that yields a Vehicle Keycard as a reward, complete it as normal by following the on-screen objectives. Upon completion, a Mission Rewards drop will appear on the map, containing the Vehicle Keycard.
Vehicle Keycards can also be found in containers, with Locked Safes yielding a decent chance of providing one. However, obtaining them this way is significantly rare.
How to Access a Vehicle Trailer in Battlefield RedSec
Now that you have a Vehicle Keycard, you’re free to head over to a Vehicle Trailer. Vehicle Trailers can be found all around Fort Lyndon, with their locations marked on the map for players to see. Simply open your map, find the nearest Vehicle Trailer, and make your way there.
Once you arrive, go to the side of the trailer and, with the Vehicle Keycard in hand, unlock it to gain access to whatever vehicle is stored inside. Doing so will allow players to spawn in Tanks, IFVs, and more.
Opening Vehicle Trailers in RedSec also comes with a neat little bonus, as it’s an action players need to complete for their Assignments. As part of the Battle Royale Specialist Challenge 1, if players open three Vehicle Trailers and get 15 kills with vehicles in Battle Royale, they’ll unlock the United Albion Standard Issue Assault character skin.
