Bear and Breakfast is a relaxing, laid-back simulation game from developers Gummy Cat. This chill game offers players many quests and buildings to manage, but some may be wondering just how many hours they will be able to squeeze out of this adorable indie game.

The Length of Bear and Breakfast

As with many business management simulations, it's hard to gauge an individual user's estimated play time. There are some that will undoubtedly race through the content as quickly as possible, doing the minimum to get to the ending of Bear and Breakfast, while some other may want to take their time. There is a lot to do in this little indie game, and players can spend loads of time chatting with locals like the park ranger in Bear and Breakfast named Beanie, making their hotels perfect, and collecting tons of materials.

On the official Discord, the developers estimate that the time to play for most new Bear and Breakfast players is about 30 hours. This is great for those looking to ring as much amusement as they can out of every dollar; 30 hours of gameplay for $20 USD isn't a bad swap. While this is the largest title players have seen lately, it is still a decent length for a sweet little indie title from a small developer.

In order to make those 30 hours go as smoothly as possible, the developers have posted some known issues with the game and how to fix them on the game's Steam page. One of the main issues players may experience is the lack of interactability with some buttons which occurs when a player hasn't deleted their demo saves if they played Bear and Breakfast during Next Fest last year.

The Replayability of Bear and Breakfast

This relaxing little video game is filled with all sorts of quests, collectibles, and more to dive into. If players didn't 100% this game on their first playthrough, it will definitely be awesome to give this game another whirl. However, some players may find the beginning segments and tutorials to prevent them from wanting a whole new playthrough from the beginning.

Thankfully, Bear and Breakfast has several save slots, so players can choose to start over without deleting all the progress of previous saves. This is also a great game to share with friends and family too; in short, this game will not sit idle even after most players have finished its full first 30 hour playthrough.

Bear and Breakfast is available for PC and is coming soon to Switch.
