In Bear and Breakfast, Hank the Bear has a limited inventory. It won't take long for players to start looking for a way to toss, sell, or put away items in order to get more space in this indie game.
Can You Sell Items in Bear and Breakfast?
The short answer to this question is that Bear and Breakfast players cannot sell their items. This is an unfortunate oversight on the part of the developers in many fans' opinions on the Steam Community pages. So unless developers Gummy Cat end up changing this, players will have to find other ways to dump unwanted items in the 30+ hours they will be playing Bear and Breakfast. Thankfully there are two things they can do: trash items or store them.
Storing Items in the Bear Stash
In order to store items in this Stardew Valley-like management sim, look for one of the Bear Stashes that are located next to each of the Pawn Voyage trucks. These boxes are all connected to one another, so putting items in one puts them in all the rest as well.
Just walk up to the cache and press E to interact with it, then drag and drop any items into the storage or from the storage to Hank's inventory.
There are also two buttons underneath the Bear Stash; the Take All button moves as much of the Bear Stash to the inventory as possible, and the Dump All button moves as much of the player's inventory to the Stash as possible.
How to Delete Items in Bear and Breakfast
Another good way to clear up some space in this strange hotel simulation game called Bear and Breakfast is to delete items. In order to delete an item, it must be in Hank's inventory and not in the Bear Stash.
Click on the item and drag it to the upper right-hand corner of the inventory menu and drop it into that little box. Thankfully, deleted items are not gone forever; if players mistakenly drop something in the trash, it saves the last few items for a bit before they are permanently gone.
Considering that locations of items don't respawn unless Hank picks up everything from the pile, this is a great thing for players. It means that even though he has to pick up the regular wood with the prized Mahogany or those stones and bricks with the Bear and Breakfast porcelain chunks, it's good to know that the extra, unwanted stuff can still be deleted.
