The announcement of the "Snyder Cut" has been met with extremely positive feedback from both fans and people involved with the Justice League movie. Ben Affleck is the latest of the movie's cast to respond to the Snyder Cut's announcement.
Shortly after the announcement, Henry Cavill, Ray Fisher, and Jason Momoa posted on Instagram, expressing their happiness that the original film's director would get a chance to see his work finally released. In Affleck's video, he apologizes for not being there live, but goes on to say, "I am very excited that Zack is getting a chance to finally see his vision realized."
Affleck also expresses his gratitude towards fans, stating that they are the reason that it is being released. Attention was brought to the Snyder Cut when a hashtag was created for it and then posted by several cast members, including Gal Gadot. The Snyder Cut was picked up by HBO MAX, which will release it in the form of a long movie or a miniseries. Apparently, Zack Snyder has enough film from the original shoots to put together the lengthy project.
Some believe that the Snyder Cut will not be much different than the theater release, however, based on the film's path after Snyder's departure, the Snyder Cut will be longer and create more storylines. One maj0r difference is the appearance of Darkseid in the Snyder Cut, which was completely left out of the theatrical release. When the Snyder Cut is released in 2021, fans will finally see the way Snyder intended Justice League to be.
