Persona 5: The Phantom X is a Gacha-infused spin-off of the original, where players will need to pull for the characters they need. When you first log in to the game, there will be multiple banners to pull phantom thieves from. For someone who's new to the Gacha system, or even veterans, it can be hard to determine which banners they should pull to get the best characters. Here's a detailed guide on what you can do.

The Best Persona 5 Phantom X Banners to Pull
There are four banners for Persona 5: The Phantom X in total (at launch) that offer different characters to pull. Each pull either requires Golden or Platinum tickets, which can be bought or earned through in-game activities. Even if you earn enough Meta Jewels, 1500 of them will convert to one platinum ticket.
Since it's hard to earn these tickets, here is the recommended banner pull order that you can follow to ensure your free pulls/summons aren't wasted.
Frost Waltz (Tutorial Banner)
This is the first banner players will receive a free pull from, which will guarantee a 4-Star Phantom Idol Kotone Montagne. The only requirement to pull from this banner is to progress farther into the tutorial section of P5X, until you finally get a pull and receive Kotone.
The Phantom Thieves of Hearts (Newcomer Contracts)
The next priority should be to get enough Golden tickets and invest them in the Newcomer contract. What you want to do is invest resources into five multi-pulls, which will guarantee a 5-Star Phantom Thief. Once you've completed five multi-pulls, click on the Special Rewards and choose one of the 5-Star characters, i.e., Ann, Ryuji, or Morgana.
You'll also get another one of these choices after completing Lufel's Plan 1. So whichever one of these choices you get first, make sure to choose Ann first, as she's the best character out of all three.
The Phantom Magician "Joker" Banner (Random Spotlight)
Last but not least, you'll need to accumulate either ten Platinum tickets or 1500 Meta Jewels to pull from the Phantom Magician banner that has the Joker. Joker is currently the best character in P5X, and it's recommended that you spend your resources to try and pull him for this limited-time banner, which will expire after a month.
You'll get 1500 Meta Jewels in your in-game email, right after receiving Pre-Registration rewards. So, make sure to claim them and invest them towards getting Joker.
