Best Battlefield 6 Controller Settings

Many of the Controller Settings that are featured in the Gameplay Settings will be automatically copied, and so we will be skipping most of those below. In terms of the layout, the optimal controller layout in Battlefield 6’s Controller Settings will likely vary depending on personal preference. The best way to find what works for you is to copy over the settings you’ve used in previous games.

For example, if you’re coming from Battlefield 4 or 2042, use similar controller layouts to those titles. If you’re coming from other shooters like Call of Duty, try matching your controller settings to what you’re used to in those games to make your gameplay feel more natural and comfortable for your playstyle. As for any other settings that require changing, here is a rundown of the best ones:

How To Copy Sensitivity Settings Over to Battlefield 6

How To Copy Sensitivity Settings Over to Battlefield 6

For those wanting to transfer their sensitivity settings from another game into Battlefield 6, Kovaaks Sensitivity Matcher is easily the best and most reliable tool to use. You can download Kovaaks Sensitivity Match here. To start, open both the game whose sensitivity you want to copy and Kovaaks Sensitivity Matcher. Set “Select Preset Yaw” to Measure Any Game.

Next, load into a private match in that game and l ine your reticle up with a specific corner or line. Press Alt+Backspace to perform a 360. The goal is to have your reticle land exactly where it started. If your reticle goes past the original point, press Alt+Minus (-) and realign it. If it falls short, press Alt+Plus (+) and repeat the process. Continue adjusting until you complete a perfect 360, with your reticle landing exactly on the starting point.

Once that’s done, launch Battlefield 6 and head to the Firing Range through the Training Ground. Line your reticle up with a corner or line again, then press Alt+Backspace to perform another 360-degree rotation. Adjust your in-game Infantry Aim Sensitivity until your reticle lands perfectly on the same point after the rotation.

If your reticle overshoots, lower your sensitivity slightly. If it stops short, raise it. Keep repeating the process until you achieve a perfect 360. This will match your sensitivity across both games as closely as possible.
