Summary

  • Trevor Belmont brings bravery to Dead By Daylight with perks based on survival skills and resourcefulness.
  • Unique perk builds can enhance gameplay, such as utilizing Exultation for upgraded med kits and strength in pallet stuns.
  • Strategic perk combinations like Eyes of Belmont to track the Killer's movement help Survivors counter powerful foes like Dracula.

All the way from Castlevania comes a new Survivor to Dead By Daylight: the iconic Trevor Belmont. This popular Castlevania protagonist is brave and honorable, but will that be enough to help him escape the Entity's realm? Unfortunately, he arrives without his trusty whip, so Belmont must rely on his strength and skills to survive in the world of Dead By Daylight.

Trevor Belmont's perks are inspired by his bravery and hope in the face of adversity. He has faced evil before and won, so he is not afraid to do so again. The perks reward the Survivor when they complete a successful pallet stun, after completing a generator, and when they rummage through chests. Each of these abilities can be used more effectively when supported by already-existing Survivor perks.

4 Best Exultation Perk Build

Upgrade, Recharge, Disappear

This perk build is centered on Exultation, the Trevor Belmont perk that upgrades and recharges the med kit after a pallet stun. The only downside with this perk is that the escaping Survivor does not get to keep the upgraded med kit.

  • Exultation: After stunning a Killer with a pallet, the med kit automatically upgrades and recharges 25% charges.
  • Windows of Opportunity (Kate): See auras of pallets, doors and windows.
  • Smash Hit (Yun-Jin): Gives a speed boost after stunning a Killer with a pallet.
  • Parental Guidance (Yoichi): Leave no scratch marks after pallet stunning a Killer.

This perk build will leave the Killer wondering where the Survivor went. A well-timed pallet stun will temporarily distract the Killer while the Survivor speeds off, leaving no scratch marks. Once in a safe place, the Survivor can heal up if necessary using the extra charges on their upgraded med kit. Another option with this build would be to swap out Windows with the Quentin perk, Vigil, to hasten the cooldown of the Exhaustion effect gained from Smash Hit.

3 Best Moment of Glory Perk Build

Rummage And Run

Moment of Glory is a great back-pocket perk, meaning it can be a good perk to have waiting until the player needs it. Inspired by Trevor Belmont's resourcefulness and strength, this perk allows the Survivor to heal automatically after 80 seconds after opening or rummaging through chests twice.

  • Moment of Glory: Activates after opening or rummaging through two chests. When injured, the Survivor is broken for 60 seconds. After that time, they heal automatically.
  • Plunderer's Instinct: See auras of chests when nearby.
  • Overcome (Jonah): Gives a speed boost when injured by the Killer.
  • Vigil (Quentin): Recover from status effects like Broken or Exhausted quicker.

10 Non-Horror Crossovers We Would Like To See in Dead By Daylight

There are myriad of excellent non-horror properties that would be a real boon for Dead by Daylight's brand of asymmetrical multiplayer horror.

This build works only if the Survivor opens or rummages two chests first. Plunderer's Instinct will help them find and open chests quickly. This activates the Moment of Glory perk, which can then be used when needed. Overcome allows the Survivor to escape the Killer quicker after injury, giving them space and time to heal automatically. In that time, they can use Plunderer's Instinct again to find more chests and activate Moment of Glory for a second time. It may also be a good idea to bring a Shiny Coin offering to increase the number of chests in the game by two.

2 Best Eyes Of Belmont Perk Build

See It, Survive It

This perk is inspired by the intelligence that Belmont is known for in the Castlevania series. With this build, Survivors take every opportunity to see the aura of the Killer. Combine it with an item like a key with aura-reading add-ons, and there is nowhere for the Killer to hide.

  • Eyes of Belmont: The Survivor sees the aura of the Killer every time a generator pops. It also gives a few extra seconds to any other aura-reading perk.
  • Still Sight (Aestri): The Survivor can see the aura of the Killer and chests within 24 meters when standing still for four seconds.
  • Alert (Feng): The Survivor sees the aura of the Killer any time it breaks or damages an item.
  • Babysitter (Steve): The Survivor sees the aura of the Killer when they unhook another Survivor.

Best Castlevania Dracula Perk Builds In Dead By Daylight

Darcula has descended into Dead by Daylight, and this new Killer can wreak havoc among Survivors with these devastating perk builds.

1

This perk build is perfect for getting intel on where the Killer is at any given moment. The Eyes of Belmont perk extends the time of all aura-reading perks by two seconds, so it is best to create a build entirely of that perk type. With this build, the Survivor gets to see the aura of the Killer in nearly all situations. Add a Skeleton Key with Scratched Pearl and Blood Amber for extended aura-reading, and the Killer will be completely exposed.

1 Best Perks To Counter Dracula

Defeat The Dark Lord

Trevor does not come alone in this Dead By Daylight chapter. His arch nemesis, Dracula, brings some mighty powers and perks that Survivors must counter in order to escape. This build gives Survivors a chance to counter some of Dracula's powers.

  • Counterforce (Jill): Speeds up cleansing those pesky totems.
  • Prove Thyself (Dwight): Speeds up generator repair speed.
  • Built To Last (Felix): Recharges the user's item when entering a locker.
  • Left Behind (Bill): See the aura of the hatch as the last Survivor.

This build could be used as an attempt to counter Dracula's Hex perks and slow-down perks. Counterforce is a great perk to use if Survivors need to cleanse totems as fast as possible — just watch out for Haunted Ground. Dwight's Prove Thyself not only speeds up a Survivor's generator repair, speed but boosts their teammates' too. If the Killer is blocking chests and making it difficult to grab items fast, then Built To Last can give the Survivor some extra help by refilling charges. Left Behind comes in clutch when Dracula is stalking the Exit Gates with his pillars of flames and the only way out is the hatch. Of course, there is always the option of swapping one out for Discordance if the priority is to counter any potential Killer aura-reading perks.
