Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis is a remake of The Answer, a sequel to the base game that only takes place a few in-game weeks later. Much like Persona 3 Reload, Episode Aigis brings a lot of gameplay changes.

While the base story from The Answer is unchanged, there will be many new features unique to this DLC on top of all the new gameplay mechanics carrying over from Reload such as Theurgy abilities. While some of these mechanics do still appear in the DLC, they have been reworked to fit into the different style of Episode Aigis.

When Do You Unlock Every Party Member In Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis

Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis doesn't give you the entire party right away; here's when you unlock each additional party member.

7 The Great Clock

Aigis Going Through The Great Clock
  • Backup characters can jump up in levels.
  • Must spend Twilight Fragments.

In The Answer, players were highly incentivized to switch party members to better deal with the difficult enemy compositions to try and hit weaknesses. While switching party members is a good strategy, it would take a lot of grinding, and that's where the Great Clock comes in.

After spending a Twilight Shard on a floor to open a chest, there is a chance the Great Clock will spawn. By selecting two party members, they can quickly jump up to Aigis's level, making switching them in much easier.

6 Monad Doors

Aigis Facing A Monad Door
  • High-risk, high-reward.
  • Close off forever once you change floors or leave.

Monad Doors are a new feature carrying over from the base game, but this time around there is more choice beyond just doing them. When a Monad Door appears on a floor, there will actually be three, and players will only be allowed to enter one, with each one having a different difficulty.

How To Beat Wealth Hands In Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis

Wealth Hands in Episode Aigis are different than the base game of Persona 3 Reload; here's how to beat them.

The higher the difficulty, the better the rewards, but you also run the risk of dying and losing all your progress. On top of the usual crafting materials, these Monad Doors are great sources of accessories and are often well worth the risk.

5 Teleporters & Returning

Aigis Facing A Teleporter In The Abyss Of Time
  • Go back to the Desert Of Doors and return for free.
  • Never lose your furthest progress.

Teleporters were found throughout Tartarus and helped act as a way out or a checkpoint to return to. All Teleporters in Episode AIgis are one-way and can bring players back to the Desert Of Doors to save. Unlike Tartarus, when going back into a door, players will be able to enter at the furthest floor explored.

This lets players pick back up right where they left off and can make a trip back to the Desert Of Doors a much less time-consuming option. If you do want to go to a lower floor to grind, that is also an option, giving players a major time-saving option if they want.

4 Hangouts & Combat Characteristics

Aigis, Junpei, and Yukari Hanging Out In The Dorm
  • Make your party stronger for free.
  • Must return to the dorm to complete them.

As you explore The Abyss Of Time, beat bosses, and open the chests on their floors, you'll find hang-out items for your party. Each item is assigned to a specific person, and returning to the door will let you spend time revolving around whatever was found.

These hangouts are not only fun character moments, but also how you increase a character's combat characteristics and make them much more efficient in combat. As long as you open every locked chest with Twilight Fragments you find, these will never be missed.

3 Aigis Upgrades

Fuuka Upgrading Aigis
  • Learn and upgrade Ambush.

Much like the base game, Aigis can upgrade her sprint and unlock the Ambush ability by having Fuuka install parts onto Aigis found in The Abyss Of Time. These parts are impossible to miss and offer great bonuses that help give the party the edge in combat.

How to Beat Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiaras in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis

The Wrathful Book and Shouting Tiaras are the first boss players will face in Episode Aigis; here's how to beat them.

Aigis' guns make landing a surprise attack much easier, but the Ambush ability can be further upgraded to deal additional status effects that make quickly clearing a group much easier.

2 Elizabeth Requests

A List Of Elizabeth Requests In Episode Aigis
  • Free rewards for simple tasks.
  • 59 Requests.

Unlocked quickly into the DLC are Elizabeth Requests, with a lot of them being very similar to those found in the base game. Many of the requests focus on fusion and are very easy to complete thanks to the final entry on this list.

Many Elizabeth Requests are very easy and require minimal effort beyond regular fusion. Staying on top of these requests and completing as many as possible offer constant rewards that make the DLC's more difficult battles much more bearable.

1 The Compendium

The Compendium In Episode Aigis
  • Summon any Persona you ever had for a cost.
  • Fill up the compendium to increase Aigis' combat characteristics.

One of the biggest issues of The Answer was the lack of the Compendium in the Velvet Room. Constant fusion was a necessity yet losing out on powerful Personas and skills ultimately handicapped the player towards the later sections of the DLC.

Episode Aigis introduces the full Compendium for players to utilize, making fusion across the board much more useful. Since the party starts at level 25, the entire Compendium up to that level is also already filled out, giving players a great foundation to start on for fusion.
