10 Life Lessons With Uramichi Oniisan (2021)
Uramichi Oniisan is the star of a children's show involving young kids, similar to Barney & Friends. He should be helping kids sing their ABCs, but instead he gives out very adult, existentially fueled, life lessons. He talks to the kids like they're adults, but in a forced cheerful voice. It's pretty dark and sarcastic, but due to the irreverent and honest nature of the comedy, the jokes land in English just as well as they do in Japanese. This anime uses the same narrator as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kent Williams, and features voices from Ray Chase and Eric Vale.
