In Burnout Paradise, players were free to drive around wherever they pleased in the fictional setting known as Paradise City.
Due to its open-world nature, racers set their own pace on how quickly they leveled up or when they took part in certain races. A lot of the fun was spent making their own adventures while driving through the city at full-speed.
