While a lot of games in the Naruto franchise offer some kind of multiplayer, they often fail to iterate from entry to entry. However, a number of them have managed to overcome this by giving fans the chance to embody their favorite ninjas and to create some fierce memories with friends. What follows are the best multiplayer Naruto games out there.

5 Naruto: The Broken Bond

Despite not really hitting upon release, The Broken Bond tends to be looked back on fondly these days. While its combat isn't the deepest it could be, the game sports some incredibly cinematic combat, full of fun mini-games played when pulling off powerful attacks.

Player 2 doesn't have to just take the beating, though. In fact, both players take a very active role in just about every aspect of combat, keeping both players engaged while creating some wild back-and-forths between them.

It's not a stretch to call this some of the most high-flying action in a Naruto game, especially when players are literally flinging each other into entirely different stages mid-match. This is part of the reason why Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 stands as one of the most fun in the series, helped along by its hefty roster of characters (including a few original to the game) that players use to engage in tag-team brawls.

Players can even fight on the same team, swapping in and out with their partners as they choose. Aspects like this work in conjunction with Wii's movement controls to help make players feel like they are truly carrying out a mission with their fellow ninjas.
