With every new Pokemon video game, there’s always another generation of Pokemon to catch, battle, trade, and adore. Nothing feels cuter than having a Pokemon of your own to hold and play with. That’s where Funko Pops and life-sized plushies come to the rescue: these lovable creatures can really help us fans fill the void.
Pokemon TCG Pocket: The Best Arceus ex Decks
Arceus ex took over Pokemon TCG Pocket’s metagame in less than a week with a fun yet deadly deck that leverages Dialga ex’s underrated power.
Funko Pop has definitely made that venture of “catching ‘em all” even easier with the latest additions to its growing list of Pokemon. While the elusive 843 Charizard (metallic) figure is probably one of the most sought-after Pokemon Funko Pops, there are always more on the horizon to keep an eye out for.

10 1011 Alolan Raichu
From the Electric type to the Electric/Psychic type, the Alolan Raichu was a delightful surprise to Pokemon fans, and it’s just as delightfully surprising now in its Funko Pop manifestation. This Funko Pop is the first Pokemon in the series to be made in its Alolan form. The vinyl figure is approximately 4.95-inch tall and can be found on Amazon for $12.99.
Hopefully, Funko Pop makes a flocked Alolan Raichu and a normal Raichu soon enough to bring out Raichu’s staticky softness – something that Pichu and Pikachu would be bound to appreciate.
9 1013 Mimikyu
The mysterious Disguise Pokemon with a unique Ghost/Fairy-type combination has been one of the many favorites among fans in the Pokemon community since its introduction in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Currently, this Pokemon can be found on Amazon for $12.99. Looks like Pokemon collectors can now give their little 3.9-inch tall Mimikyu a bigger friend.
Among the few large 10-inch Pokemon Funko Pops, there’s now a 9.5-inch Mimikyu available for $44.99 as Target’s exclusive offer, which came out on January 12, 2025.
8 453 Bulbasaur (Soft Color)
The Grass-type Starter Pokemon brings with it a strong sense of nostalgia from the original trio that Ash Ketchum and Pokemon fans alike hold near and dear. In fact, Pokemon fans can hold it even closer with this lovely soft-colored variation of Bulbasaur. This version of Bulbasaur came out on December 16, 2024, as an Amazon exclusive offer, and it sells for $15.00.
While Venusaur and Ivysaur have yet to show up on the list of Pokemon Funko Pops, you can still pick a few from the available variations of Bulbasaur while their limited supply lasts.
7 455 Charmander (Soft Color)
The Fire-type lizard Pokemon is a particular favorite from the original trio straight out of Kanto. Let’s hope Funko Pop completes this trio with a soft-colored Squirtle soon. While waiting with bated breath for this one as well as Charmeleon, Pokemon fans can always check out the many Eevee evolutions that have been made so far.
The soft-colored Charmander comes as Amazon’s exclusive offer. Officially, this version will be out on April 1, 2025, and, as of this writing, Pokemon fans can pre-order this fiery Pokemon for $14.99.

After Pokemon Legends: Z-A's latest trailer confirmed its starter Pokemon, there could be some interesting reasons behind Game Freak's final choices.
6 1030 Fuecoco
The unforgettable Fire-type Starter hails from the Paldea region. With Quaxly and Sprigatito from earlier releases in the July and December of 2024, the Paldean Starter trio feels complete now. Let’s hope the other Starter trios get the same attention and become the next additions to the Pokemon Funko Pop list in the future.
This 3.4-inch fire-breathing, bipedal crocodile is currently available on Amazon for $15.95. Collectors looking to complete the trio might be pleased to find out that Amazon is selling both Quaxly and Sprigatito for $12.99 and $10.49 respectively.
5 1031 Gengar
Ah, Gengar! This scary Ghost/Poison-type Pokemon has been a staple of any Ghost-type trainer’s team ever since it appeared in Pokemon Red Version and Pokemon Blue Version, although trainers had to trade a Haunter for it to evolve into Gengar back then.
This leaves the fans of Hex Maniacs, Ruin Maniacs, Psychics, and Gengar with news just as exciting as coming across a new set of reward codes to get more freebies in your favorite Pokemon game. As of February 3, 2025, Gengar, in all its 3.45-inch glory, can be purchased on Amazon for $12.99. If Pokemon fans are looking for an even bigger Gengar to add as a friend to this tiny version, then they only need to wait for the 10-inch Jumbo Funko Pop version of Gengar, which is set to be released into the world as Target’s exclusive offer in 2025.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Fan Shows Off Hex Maniac Cosplay
A Pokemon Legends: Z-A fan wastes no time after spotting a Hex Maniac in the game's teaser, crafting an impressive cosplay based on her redesign.
4 1032 Zorua
The mischievieous Dark-type fox Pokemon has mystified some fans with its Illusion ability. Now this Pokemon has a chance to show us its trickster ways as part of the latest trio to be added to the list. Pokemon collectors can claim this standard vinyl version of Zorua on Amazon for $12.99.
Much like Raichu being the first Alolan Pokemon, Zorua might be a lucky contender to become the first Pokemon to get a Hisuian-form Funko Pop. After all, seeing this cute fox Pokemon go from a Dark type to a Normal/Ghost type is something many Pokemon fans could find worthwhile in their collections.
3 1050 Dratini
There’s no shortage of Pokemon fans and collectors alike fawning over the Dragon-type Pokemon. With its final evolutionary form Dragonite already available on Amazon, it seems that it’s only a matter of time before we get to see a Dragonair to complete this evolution series. Currently, the Dratini Funko Pop is available for pre-order on Amazon for $12.99. It will be officially released on April 1, 2025.
2 1051 Fidough
Being cuteness itself, just like the franchise’s serene and relaxing television series Pokemon Concierge, Fidough is definitely a pupper with the potential to become a new favorite Fairy-type Pokemon from Generation 9. On April 1, 2025, it will be in the hands of anyone wanting to pre-order this precious cinnamon bun on Amazon for $12.99.
1 1052 Gardevoir
The final Pokemon on this list is the lovely Psychic/Fairy type that has fascinated Pokemon fans worldwide. Quite some fans would consider this little vinyl well worth a pre-order on Amazon for $12.99 on April 1, 2025.
The Pokemon franchise has come far with Gardevoir: from its first appearance in Hoenn all the way to its Mega Evolution into Mega Gardevoir in Kalos. There’s only one thing a hopeful fan can do: wait and see if Funko Pop keeps this up and drives the rest of this Pokemon’s evolutionary series toward Funko Pop Gallade or Mega Gardevoir. These would certainly make for one-of-a-kind surprises.
What Funko Pop Vinyls Are In Your Collection?
I've only really started collecting again since I moved overseas a few years ago, but my baby collection so far has a bobblehead Groot, Eleven from Stranger Things, and a Gingerbread Batman. I also got a Mini-Pop advent calendar of Marvel figures last year - loved it!
