These games are commonly shooters, with the most basic format being teams fighting against each other. However, some PvP games follow other genres too, which give players bigger maps and possibly survival mechanics. However, creating a base with thick walls will give the player a better chance at keeping their things and not being raided by other deadly players.

Another great PvP survival experience with base-building mechanics is Ark: Survival Evolved. Like 7 Days to Die, players must not only focus on the dangers of the players but also create a fortress for themselves that will keep them well protected against the various prehistoric creatures that lurk.

The player's base will still be heavily inspired by avoiding others attempting to break into it by making every floor of their base feel like a labyrinth. Having a thick foundation and honeycomb-like walls means players' items are less likely to be stolen, while also allowing the player a better chance at survival.
