The main game of The Witcher 3 was a joy to behold, and fans wondered how Hearts of Stone would build upon its strengths. By introducing tougher enemies along with one of the greatest gaming antagonists of all time, this expansion pack more than justified its rave critical reviews.
Gaunter O'Dimm's supernatural powers are hard to understand and make him a devious immortal being, with players defeating this demon with a bit of trickery since a direct confrontation would likely lead to their demise. This devil grants a person's wish with a sinister twist, such as when he removes Olgierd's ability to feel and gives him immortality when the man asks for a way to live forever with his wife.

This witch seems rather weak and unintimidating at first glance, only for players to find out that she's a shapeshifter who prolongs her lifestyle by inhabiting the bodies of other hapless women. This allows her to enjoy a unique form of immortality, even if it comes at the cost of a poor maiden's life.

For an optional character, it's impressive to see the impact Vincent Valentine had in Final Fantasy 7. His wife was manipulated to become a test subject who'd harbor Sephiroth, and Vincent himself was experimented on and turned into a vampire after confronting Hojo about these inhumane experiments.
Players can head to the mansion in Nibelheim and uncover his crypt, acquiring Vincent's services as a party member. His immortality and the role he plays in Final Fantasy 7's story establish him as one of the most important characters in the series.
