Barakamon is a bundle of laughs, and the dynamic between the antisocial Handa and the obnoxious Naru is always fun to watch. Seeing Handa grow as a person thanks to the influence of the locals and how it improves his calligraphy is also fun to watch.

Even so, Azumanga Daioh still has a lot of bright spots. The show is quirky and funny, and the characters are a delight to watch. While there aren't many heartwarming moments like in Komi Can't Communicate, this show is still a bundle of laughs.

This anime is fairly short at only twelve minutes per episode, but it provides a nice, low-intensity experience for people hoping for a drama-free anime. With its lighthearted story beats and adorable characters, Senryu Girl is the perfect anime to watch while winding down from a tough day.

Compared to the other entries on this list, Horimiya leans more toward the romantic side rather than the comedic side. Despite this, it's still quite entertaining to see this duo balance their outward personalities with their inner selves, and the series is very popular. Also, Horimiya: The Missing Pieces is just a straight-up slice-of-life comedy, with romance being a small part of the overall package. It is arguably even better than the first season.

Seitokai Yakuindomo is definitely heavier on comedy than it is on romance or even traditional slice of life, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its romantic moments. It's also much raunchier than series like Komi Can't Communicate, but only in a verbal way.
