Vehicles are usually the ones that decide the outcome of a match in Battlefield 6. A well-supported tank or an ace pilot can decimate an entire team, and if you're wondering why you aren't seeing the same results when you try a vehicle out, it may be because you haven't unlocked the right equipment yet.

Most vehicles in Battlefield 6 can be equipped with different weapons and utilities, and they can significantly transform how those vehicles perform. In this guide, we'll be going over the best setups for every vehicle in the game to help you familiarize yourself with how they work.

Battlefield 6 Review: A Chaotic, Non-Stop Blast

Battlefield 6 is an explosive FPS with adrenaline-fueled multiplayer that is truly Battlefield at its best.

As of writing, weapons and equipment on transport vehicles and jets cannot be changed.

Main Battle Tanks can bulldoze through enemy defenses if used properly, but they are far from indestructible. The tank driver's job is to get rid of enemy vehicles and cull enemy infantry, which is why we're taking AP shells for the former and HE shells for the latter.

For defenses, use the Projectile Intercept System to counter incoming rockets and tank shells, and Mine Countermeasures to automatically detect enemy mines. The Reinforced Plating upgrade will slow you down, but that won't matter much when you're pushing with your frontliners. Always make sure that there's a friendly Engineer supporting you so you don't get blown up.

IFVs (or Infantry Fighting Vehicles) are light tanks that serve as both a mobile weapons platform and a spawn point. They can't take as much punishment as tanks, but they are faster and more maneuverable, making them effective at flanking and hit-and-run tactics.

While IFVs can be built for tank hunting, we've found that they're often better for clearing infantry. HE Shells are great for taking out soldiers, and Lock Guided Missiles can be used to deal with both heavy armor and aircraft. Keep in mind that the gunner seat has a laser designator that works with the main gunner's missiles.

For defense, take Reinforced Plating for extra survivability against rockets, and get Counter-Fire Radar to automatically spot anyone who damages your vehicle. AT players tend to be a little predictable, and Counter-Fire Radar can help you line up shots more easily.

Best Mobile Anti-Air Vehicle Build in Battlefield 6

Mobile AA guns do exactly what their names suggest: take out enemy aircraft. They're useful in a pinch against enemy, but don't expect much from them when it comes to fighting armored vehicles. For AA tanks, we recommend the following:

  • High Velocity AA Shells make tracking flying targets easier.
  • Thermal Blocking Smoke prevents Lock Guided Missiles from locking onto you.
  • Enhanced Loading Systems increases the reload speed of your weapons.

Targeting Interference

Attack helicopters are great at hunting infantry and vehicles, but it takes a great deal of skill and awareness to do so. This loadout reinforces the vehicle's hunter-killer role by focusing on heavy air-to-ground firepower.

Heavy Rockets can deal with most targets, but they are better against tanks since they have a lower max capacity compared to the others. You can still strafe infantry with it, but you'll run out of rockets fairly quickly. Likewise, the TOW Missile is perfect for killing heavy armor, but it can be a little hard to use. The default Aim-Guided Rockets are quite good too.

The Targeting Interference upgrade is great for scrambling lock-based weapons from infantry and vehicles. You still have to worry about getting blown out of the sky, but this will give you more time to reach cover and break lock-ons. This is especially good for open maps like Operation Firestorm where cover for air vehicles is limited.
