Fire Emblem Engage is the latest title in the storied franchise, and has removed the durability of the weapons. This therefore means that when a player has unlocked a sword or an axe that deals a high number of danger. They will be able to keep it for the vast majority of the game without worrying about overuse destroying it and therefore saving it for later chapters.
Although players are already aware of the strength of Emblem weapons. This list looks at the alternate options of melee weapon a player should equip on their units as soon as possible in order to commit the most amount of damage during a chapter.
8 Wyrmslayer
Although Emblem Roy also has his hands on a Wyrmslayer, thankfully for the player, this weapon can also be found while completing chapters in Fire Emblem Engage to then be wielded against opponents in battle.
This sword has been specifically crafted to be used against dragons. Therefore, the Wyrmslayer will mainly come in handy when facing off against Wyvern Knights whose only other weakness is archers. Putting this weapon on someone with a sword proficiency is sure to make quick work of any winged foes they may pass.
7 Killer Bow
Archers are a vital unit for players to take into many of the chapters in Fire Emblem Engage. Not only can they cause to flying units, but they're also lethal from a distance.
Characters like Fogado can benefit from a bow, which will increase their chances of succeeding on a critical hit. That's where bows like the Killer Bow come in handy. All the Killer weapons in Fire Emblem increase the chances of crits, increasing the total amount of damage a character can do in their turn.
6 Ridersbane
Similar to the Wyrmslayer sword, Ridersbane is a lance that deals a large amount of damage to units that the player faces on horseback. Out of all the units a player will face when heading into the later chapters, enemies that use horses become incredibly popular, especially Paladins.
Paladins tend to have a lot of armor protecting them, making the usual lance user struggle to attack them. Equipping these same units with the Ridersbane will not only end Paladins' lives quickly, but also any other horse the player may face.
5 Divine Fist Art
Brawl has been put under a new name in Fire Emblem Engage known as Combat Arts. The units that are proficient in this don't wield weapons, but take on enemies with their bare hands. However, all units still need some sort of weapon to hold. These units' martial arts are controlled by scrolls they can possess.
Once leveling up the donations to level five in Brodia (which won't come cheap) players are rewarded with the Divine Fist Art. This is a rank S Combat Art that deals deadly damage to any foe the player puts their characters against.
4 Misericorde
Inflicting deadly poison is another way for players to get the upper hand in combat. This can only be done by those proficient in knives, such as thieves. With knives that can hit for deadly damage up close and others that hit from afar, there are many knives to choose from.
Misericorde takes top place for its high hit chance and versatility in both up close and ranged combat. Unfortunately, this powerful knife can only be wielded by Fell Dragons. Therefore, players may only unlock this blade near the end of the game once they have recruited Veyle.
3 Uknovasara
Uknovasara is a huge legendary axe that can deal an incredible amount of damage to foes. Due to its ennormous size, players won't be able to attack twice in a turn or go first. However, this doesn't stop the axe from being a highly useful weapon.
It should be noted that players won't get their hands on this axe until Chapter 24, and therefore won't be able to use this legendary weapon until the last couple of chapters. Still, it's worth using as a late-game weapon.
2 Venomous
Like Uknovasara, this enormous weapon cannot attack twice or go first during a player's turn. Still, this doesn't stop it from being deadly in the right unit's hands.
After getting Fierne's donations to level five, players will be rewarded the Venomous lance to take into combat. In addition to the lethal damage it can cause, just like knives, this huge lance can also poison foes, making it even more dangerous in battle.
1 WiIle Glanz
When nearing the end of the game players will finally unlock the second weapon that can only be wielded by the Divine Dragon, Alear. Wille Glanz not only does an intense amount of damage to foes, but is also a blade that can attack from a distance as well as up close.
This sword has an incredible might stat that makes any strike Alear takes against another foe lethal. Not to mention that as the main character, Alear has one of the strongest sets of stats in the game, making them a brilliant match for this huge sword.
