The House Of The Dead series was an arcade classic. Players spent hours in arcades pointing plastic guns at the screen and blasting zombies to pieces.

The release of this game blew people's minds when it was released. Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare was a humongous expansion for Red Dead Redemption and was even classed as a game in its own right.
The introduction of zombies into the Red Dead world was genius and fighting zombies as John Marston, and the undead John Marston was a lot of fun. Undead Nightmare had a really great sense of humor and that was interspersed with some genuinely scary moments.

Resident Evil 1 on the PlayStation 1 was a genre-defining game that has been used to inspire just about every survival horror game since its release. The Spencer Mansion is such an incredible setting for a horror game and every inch of that mansion is filled with things designed to scare the player.
The GameCube remaster took an already amazing game and gave it a coat of paint. The art was completely remade and every part of the game was lovingly and faithfully remade to create a masterpiece of a video game. This also meant that the zombies got a makeover and looked incredibly detailed and scary, and many players feel that the GameCube remaster is the best version of Resident Evil to this day.
