Bethesda is currently giving away freebies for Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, and a couple more games. The limited-time offer is meant to incentivize sign-ups for Bethesda's newsletter.
The Microsoft-owned studio has long been using free in-game item packs as promotional tools. The latest such bundle was given away back in August with the goal of commemorating QuakeCon 2023.
Fallout 76 Players Call For a Long-Overdue Emote
A vocal section of the Fallout 76 fandom bands together to call for Bethesda to add what they feel is a long-overdue emote to the game.
Bethesda Giving Away New In-Game Item Bundle Until August 2024
Yet another such promotion was launched in mid-June, offering players a chance to grab some new freebies spanning four games: Fallout 76, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and Rage 2. The only requirement for claiming the new bundle is to sign up for the Bethesda newsletter. Doing so requires registering for an account with the company, but that's something that most owners of any of the aforementioned four games already have. The promotion itself runs until August 10, 2024.

Bethesda fans who are already subscribed to the developer-publisher's newsletter are also able to grab the newly launched bundle, but they will have to do it the same way as everyone else. The process itself is as simple as logging into the company's website and pressing the big "claim now" button in the upper-left corner of the promotional page. Doing so will automatically add the included items to their respective games, courtesy of their Bethesda account integration.
Players wanting to verify that they managed to claim the new bundle of freebies without having to install any games can do so by navigating to the Transaction History section of their account page on Bethesda's website. Doing so should bring up the "Product Codes" tab, which will include "Bethesda Bundle 2024" if the claiming process was successful. The free Fallout 76 items can be found via the C.A.M.P. Build mode or armor crafting interface, depending on the freebie. Meanwhile, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Doom Eternal, and Rage 2 bonuses will all become available from their respective game's equipment menu after claiming the offer.
The bundle's contents are free to keep forever, even should the user decide to opt out of the newsletter after claiming the freebies, Bethesda has confirmed. Opting into promotional emails via the Marketing Preferences page on the Bethesda website will also automatically add the freebies to one's account. The promotion itself is set to conclude in the middle of QuakeCon 2024, which the publisher might choose to commemorate with another similar giveaway, much like it did in recent years.
