Naruto is a legendary story in the space of shonen manga and anime. Based on the life of Naruto Uzumaki, the series has been a part of many anime fans’ childhoods, and even a gateway to anime got many. Sadly, the Naruto series concluded over a decade ago now, and fans are still not over it even, so many years later. Naruto has an official sequel in Boruto, but it’s no surprise to know that Boruto isn't a fan favorite and ruins the legacy of many established characters. Instead, many fans have looked to new and unique series to replace the gap Naruto left after its end, and many believe Black Clover to be the perfect substitute.
Naruto Has Officially Been Beaten By A New Gen Manga
A new manga has risen in the ranks and beaten Naruto in manga sales.
To the dismay of many, Black Clover has had to deal with its own issues, but the manga is officially returning strong on October 30 with three new chapters, and fans can’t wait to see what Tabata has in store for them as the ending edges closer.

Black Clover was, at one point, one of the biggest shonen series in the Jump magazine. However, the series faced some major issues, specifically due to the health of the mangaka, Yuki Tabata.
Due to his health, Tabata has had to go on extended hiatuses more than once. This has, understandably, caused huge delays for the series, even though the story is in its final arc. It has also caused the anime to go on hiatus due to a lack of content to adapt.

Either way, 2025 has proven to be the year of Black Clover as the manga has already made a comeback once earlier. Now, it’s returning once again on October 30, 2025, with a lot of new content.
Black Clover will return with three chapters, which will contain 61 pages of content. This upcoming release will be incredibly exciting for the fans, and they're fans are heavily anticipating it.

Black Clover Is Still A Beloved Shonen
Black Clover is its own story, but one can’t ignore the many similarities it draws to Naruto, one of the previous pillars of shonen manga. With all the influences and references to Naruto in mind, many fans of Naruto have now gotten into Black Clover, instead of the likes of Boruto.
While certainly a successor to Naruto in Jump, Black Clover has never been as big as Naruto, and a big reason to blame is definitely the constant hiatuses. Black Clover doesn’t have long left, but it was, and remains to be, a fun ride for many fans. At the very least, fans still have its anime return to look forward to in 2026.

The Black Clover series, despite its long hiatus, still has many episodes out. All these episodes can be found and streamed on Crunchyroll, the biggest anime platform in the world. Season 2 will also be available on Crunchyroll once it is released eventually. For fans who don’t want to wait for the anime return, however, the manga is the perfect place to indulge in more Black Clover content, especially as the manga is still ongoing.
