After the fight with the undead Yaoguais at the start of the fifth chapter of Black Myth: Wukong, players will be able to explore the Flaming Mountains. Though not a pleasant treat for the eyes, the blazing areas with lava have valuable loot, materials, and Celestial Pills up for the taking. In addition, players can interact with the last four Meditation Spots in this area to acquire the "Scenic Seeker" Trophy/Achievement.
The Meditation Spots also grant Sparks, which players will look for to unlock more abilities in the Skill Tree. This guide includes the location of all the Meditation Spots in the Flaming Mountains in Black Myth: Wukong.
Black Myth: Wukong- How To Beat Yaksha King
The Yaksha King is the final boss of Chapter 5 of Black Myth: Wukong. Here is how players can beat him.
Meditation Spot #1: The Relief
- Closest Keeper's Shrine: Camp of Seasons (Woods of Ember)
From the Camp of Seasons Keeper's Shrine, cross the bridge on your left and head left as soon as you see multiple enemies on your right. There should be a path that leads into another small cave with a hanging lesser Yaoguai on the ceiling. As you come down the wooden bridge, head right where the Archer is shooting you from and climb the stairs to reach the Meditation Spot at the top of the wooden platform.
Meditation Spot #2: The Buddha
- Closest Keeper's Shrine: The Emerald Hall (Furnace Valley)
Upon arriving at The Emerald Hall, you must sit through a cutscene followed by a boss fight with Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin-Yang Fish. After the fight is over, turn around and head for the balcony. Look to your right to find the second Meditation Spot.
Meditation Spot #3: The Crag
- Closest Keeper's Shrine: Ashen Pass III (Field of Fire)
Progress through the chapter until you reach the Ashen Pass III Keeper's Shrine. There should be a small area near the Shrine, and if you head further right, you can find a Meditation Spot at the end.
There is a red mushroom in the middle of this area, which initiates the Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss fight upon pulling. The boss drops a Headgear, some Seeds, and its Spirit, which can be useful in specific encounters.
Meditation Spot #4: The Screen
- Closest Keeper's Shrine: Purge Pit (Secret: Bishui Cave)
To find the last Meditation Spot, players must make their way to the secret area in Flaming Mountains. Bishui Cave can only be accessed after you have defeated all the Element Carts. Upon reaching the Purge Pit Keeper's Shrine, turn around and go to the right side instead of going down the stairs to find the Meditation Spot.
