Black Myth: Wukong

After completing Xu-Dog's questline, players will be introduced to Pills, which are used to enhance offensive and defensive capabilities. These Pills can also help resist the Four Bane statuses. Formulas for these Pills can be found throughout the game, unlocking recipes for players to craft at any Keeper's Shrine, given they have enough materials. None of the Medicine Formulas are missable and can be completed after before defeating the final boss. However, players must complete multiple side quests to gain access to Secret areas and NPCs.

Medicine Formula in Black Myth Wukong Overview

There are 14 Medicine Formulas that you can acquire throughout the different chapters.

Evil Repelling Medicament	2	From the Sandgate Village Keeper's Shrine, head right and drop down to the area where you will meet Xu-Dog for the first time. Head down to the body of water and defeat Lang-Li-Guhh-Baw, who drops the formula.
Longevity Decoction	2	You can purchase this from Xu-Dog at the start of the second chapter.
Tonifying Decoction	3	You can purchase this from Xu-Dog at the start of the third chapter.
Fortifying Medicament	3	During Chen Loong's quest, when he requests you for Medicine. You can go to Xu-Dog, who gives you this pill and the formula.
Enhanced Tiger Subduing Pellets	3	From the Precept Corridor in the Bitter Lake, head straight past the New West Meditation Spot to find the formula inside a small container.
Body-Fleeting Powder	3	From the Temple Entrance in New Thunderclap Temple, head straight to the building ahead and exit it to reach the staircase on both sides. Head up the stairs on the left and go forward, heading left and down the stairs. There should be a building in front of you to enter and go to on the upper floor. Exit the room and head left, where you will find the Horse Guai and the formula at the end inside a container.
Essence Decoction	4	You can purchase this from Xu-Dog at the start of the fourth chapter.
Enhanced Ginseng Pellets	4	From the Verdure Bridge in Webbed Hollow, cross the small broken wooden bridge ahead and turn left. After the cutscene, head right through the doorway to find multiple chests. The chest on the extreme left should have the formula.
Mirage Pill	4	From the Verdure Bridge, head straight, drop down into the hole, and continue forward until you reach a fork in the path. Head left, up the stairs, and turn right of the tree to find another set of stairs. Go up these stairs and head inside the small house on the right to find the formula.
Life-Saving Pill	4	From the Petalfall Hamlet Keeper's Shrine, head straight up the bridge, then the stairs to reach the area where you meet Daoist Mi for the first time. Turn right, and at the end of the path, turn left through the side of the house. Keep going straight up the bridge to reach a house with a formula on a table.
Loong Aura Amplification Pellets	5	You can purchase this from Xu-Dog at the start of the fifth chapter.
Septenary Heartfire Pill	5	After unlocking the Secret Area Bishui Cave, head along the main path, and right before dropping to the first Keeper's Shrine, you will find this formula. If you want to go from the Keeper's Shrine, you can turn around, jump, and do a heavy attack to perform a double jump and head forward to find the formula.
Ascension Powder	6	From the Verdant Path Keeper's Shrine, head forward and defeat the Supreme Inspector boss.
Soul Remigration Pill	2 (NG+)	You can purchase this from Xu-Dog in the Celler of Crouching Tiger Temple in New Game+.
