Black Myth: Wukong's fifth chapter takes place in the Flaming Mountains, home to the Bull Demon King, his wife Rakshasi, and several powerful Yaoguai. Navigating these Flaming Mountains will be necessary to acquire the fifth relic, and along the way you can also collect three new soaks.

Players who use a lot of spells in Black Myth: Wukong will find the soaks in this chapter especially useful, providing ways to reduce cooldowns and extend the duration of Pluck of Many's duplicates. The final soak found in this area provides burn resistance, which is useful when navigating the rest of the chapter and fighting the chapter's boss.

Black Myth: Wukong - All Soaks in Chapter 4: The Webbed Hollow

Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong has the Destined One descending into the Webbed Hollow, where you can find many new soaks if you know where to look.

Mount Lingtai Seedlings

Black Myth Wukong_Mount Lingtai Seedlings_Location

The Mount Lingtai Seedlings are incredibly useful for dealing damage against bosses, as they extend the duration of Duplicates conjured with Pluck of Many. As with all soaks, this effect is triggered after taking a sip and only lasts for a short time, so you should cast the spell as soon as possible after taking a sip, if you want to make the most of this soak.

To get the Mount Lingtai Seedlings, you'll first need to reach the Camp of Seasons Shrine, in the Wood of Embers. From here, cross the bridge and follow the path until you cross a second bridge, then go straight ahead, past a large tree and up a set of stairs to reach a small structure with a golden turtle box inside, which contains the Mount Lingtai Seedlings.

Slumbering Beetle Husk

To get the Slumbering Beetle Husk, which reduces cooldowns for all spells in exchange for temporarily slowing your movement, you'll need to go the Emerald Hall Shrine in Furnace Valley. Head up to where you fought the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains/The Yin-Yang Fish and face the altar where Zhu Bajie was sitting when he disguised himself as Rakshasi during the cutscene. From here, look to the left and a bit behind you, the soak is on the other side of the columns in a golden turtle chest.

This soak makes healing a touch more risky since you have to account for the reduced movement after using it, but it allows you to use spells with greater frequency if you can get the hang of it. For builds heavily reliant on using spells, this soak is an excellent choice.

Flame Mediator

Black Myth Wukong_Flame Mediator_Farming Location

The final soak you'll need to track down in Chapter 5 is called Flame Mediator. This soak is a random drop from an enemy called "Searing-Fire", which resembles a flaming rock on legs and can be found in several spots in chapter 5. One excellent location for farming these is near the Cooling Slope Shrine in the Field of Fire. Head in the direction of the big ice door (which is guarded by a boss if you've completed the necessary steps in the Five Element Carts quest) and before you get to the large open area you'll find a river of fire with a few of these enemies sitting in it. They'll be disguised as rocks and will jump to life when you get close.

The Flame Mediator Soak increases burn resistance for a short duration after taking a sip, which can be useful against a lot of the enemies in this area, including the final boss of the chapter.
