There are a number of different ways to get stronger in Black Myth: Wukong, with a major one being the Relics acquired throughout the campaign. These Relics, when equipped, grant unique passive abilities that can greatly enhance certain gameplay styles. There are a total of 6 relics in Black Myth: Wukong, and each relic offers 3 different perks, out of which players can equip only one perk at a time. While each perk has its own utility and use in specific situations, Wukong players would do well to learn which Relics offer the best overall gameplay experience.

6 Grieved Body

Primarily Focuses On Main Stats

Perks	Description
Everlasting Vitality	Considerably increase maximum health.
Nimble Body	Massively reduces the stamina cost of all charged heavy attacks.
Divine Safeguard	Considerably increases four bane resistance.

At the bottom of the list is Grieved Body, the relic obtained after the completion of chapter 5. The reason why this relic is placed in last place on the list is because the perks obtained from this relic do not have a significant contribution to Sun Wukong’s powers.

Of the 3 perks, only Everlasting Vitality seems to be a good option for the players as it significantly increases overall health. Nimble Body can also be helpful in reducing the stamina cost for using charged heavy attacks, and while Divine Safeguard increases the resistance to the four elemental status effects in the game, the perk itself is not of much use to the players to consider opting for it.

5 Envious Tongue

It mainly ranks low on the list because of its nature to rely on the drinking potions to utilize its effects, and the perks provided by the relic mainly prioritize survivability or mediocre offense.

The perk Tongue of a Connoisseur is the best option players can choose when equipping this relic, as it increases the healing effect based on the number of soaks the player has obtained. The number of soaks increases with time, making the healing stronger as time passes by.

Hubris Nose, obtained at the end of chapter 3, is a solid relic that could have climbed up in the list if not for the fact that spells are not the major offensive driving force in Black Myth: Wukong. While spells can do some cool stuff and should be utilized regularly in combat, Hubris Nose doesn't offer the same calibur of enhancements that the remaining three relics offer.

The best perk for Hubris Nose has to offer is Lingering Aroma, as it boosts damage after casting a spell, which can be a powerful combination to keep enemies at bay.

Another valuable perk is In One Breath, which works in conjunction with the Ring of Fire spell. This perk helps to charge focus while inside the Ring of Fire, allowing players to use that focus with various stances to deliver powerful, lethal blows.

The Hold Breath perk is convenient for players who tend to dodge a little too early, as it extends the brief period of invincibility granted to the players after performing a dodge — though, ultimately, this perk is not of much to the players as their dodging skills improve throughout their time with the game.

3 Fuming Ears

However, unlocking its perks can be challenging, as it requires players to achieve the game’s secret ending. The primary reason this relic isn’t ranked higher is the considerable time investment needed to obtain it.

The relic’s standout perk is Unified Minds, which greatly boosts damage from the Destined One's duplicates by having them mimick powerful moves.

Elegance in Simplicity moderately boosts light attack damage, providing a noticeable buff that players can easily experience during gameplay.

The final perk, Unbegotten, Undying, becomes valuable when the player’s life is in danger, nearing death. This perk provides substantial damage reduction once the life-saving strand is triggered, enabling players to recover quickly from the brink and seize the second chance offered to them.

Opportune Watcher stands out as the best choice and a go-to option for most players. This perk increases focus with each consecutive successful light attack, allowing players to accumulate focus and unleash powerful heavy attacks to maximize damage. Requiring no additional assistance, players can build up focus simply by performing the game’s basic attacks.

Keen Insight is another great perk that becomes even deadlier when paired with spells like Cloud Step and its powerful Unveiling Strike. The perk also synergizes well with skills that boost critical hit chance, providing a substantial damage increase for players who favor an offensive playstyle.
