While the developers of Black Myth: Wukong have stated that it is not a souls-like game, the difficulty of the game has made many players question it. With every passing chapter, the bosses become stronger and become harder to deal with. Some enemies, like the Thousand-Eyed Daoist Master, nearly seem invincible unless players find the
Weaver's Needle.
In Chapter 6, Black Myth: Wukong players will face some of the toughest challenges yet. One of the fiercest enemies in the Mount Huaguo is the Gold Armored Rhino. This behemoth is quick, and its attacks deal a ton of damage. In this guide, Black Myth: Wukong players will find all the tricks they need to overcome this one-horned monster.
Black Myth: Wukong— How To Get The Knot of Voidness
The Knot of Voidness is a rare material that helps Black Myth: Wukong players get even stronger.
Where To Find The Gold Armored Rhino In Black Myth: Wukong
Mt. Huaguo seems like a massive place, but it is easy to navigate when you are at a high altitude. So, get on the cloud and ascend till you have a clear view of everything that is below. Keep an eye on a battlefield that is covered with flames. Move towards the location and slowly descend. There is a Keeper's Shrine nearby; activate it and prepare for an arduous battle.
How To Beat The Gold Armored Rhino In Black Myth: Wukong
Beat The Enemy to Acquire The Mythical Armor
- Takes nearly no damge when the horn is intact
- Can cause Shock build-up with Thunder attacks
The Gold Armored Rhino is extremely aggressive, and it will waste no time in goring the Destined One with its horn. Players have to be careful as its attacks pack quite a punch, and they can wipe off a massive chunk of HP. The key here is to dodge at the right time to build focus for the heavy attack.
Players will notice that their attacks barely do any damage to the Gold Armored Rhino. It doesn't matter if they attack from the side or head-on. If they try to attack the front, where the horn is, they will be momentarily stunned, giving the Gold Armored Rhino ample time to strike. If they go from the side, the behemoth will move and eventually stomp them.
As previously stated, if you have built enough focus for a heavy attack, then it is time to let loose. Face the Rhino and make sure that the attack is going to hit the horn. Once the strike connects, the horn will break, leaving the rhino defenseless. This is your cue to unleash all of your powerful attacks and lower the rhino's HP.
After a while, the horn will regenerate, and you will have to follow the same procedure until it is beaten. Alternatively, players can use
Wandering Wight's spirit attack to break off the horn. After the Gold Armored Rhino is beaten, players will get the Gold Suozi Armor, previously worn by Sun Wukong.
Aside from its powerful attacks, the Gold Armored Rhino can also inflict Shock, increasing the damage output. Make sure to dodge its attacks to avoid being afflicted by Shock.
