Auspicious Lantern is the only missable Curio in Black Myth: Wukong, and it requires players to explore the Pagoda Realm and deal with some troublesome enemies. Periodically, inside the Pagoda Realm, the background music will intensify, indicating the start of the Pagoda Curse. This curse occurs briefly and lowers the character's health to half. The curse can be annoying; however, a new enemy type known as the Lantern Wardens appears during the curse.
These Lantern Wardens roam the Pagoda Realm, and once they see the player, the Wardens can grab and throw them down into the pit, which means death. Finding and killing all the Lantern Wardens is vital to acquiring the Curio.

All Lantern Warden Locations
There are nine Lantern Wardens located on the different floors of the Pagoda Realm.
Defeating Captain Wise-Voice near the Mani Wheel Keeper's Shrine will cause the Lantern Warden to stop spawning.

The first Lantern Warden is located on the floor you find yourself in at the start of Pagoda Realm. Follow the main path to the first Keeper's Shrine at the end, and you can see the Warden during the curse. |

From the Lower Pagoda Keeper's Shrine, head left into the narrow walkway and follow the main path. Take the first right through the metal gate, and you can spot the third Lantern Warden in the distance. |

The fifth Warden is in front of the Upper Pagoda Keeper's Shrine. |

From the Upper Pagoda Keeper's Shrine, head straight along the path. Soon, you will see a wooden ramp you can cross, and the sixth Lantern Warden is on the other side. |

Progress further into the area until you reach the Mani Wheel Keeper's Shrine. Instead of entering the Captain Wise-Voice boss room, turn around and go where you came. As you reach the wooden ramp that goes down, pass it and follow the path until you can drop down to a lower rock platform. Drop down again to reach a lower floor where the ninth Warden is at the end of this path. |
Lantern Wardens only appear when the curse is active. Once all of the Lantern Wardens are dead, the Auspicious Lantern Curio will automatically drop and count towards the "A Curios Collection" Trophy/Achievement.
