Like any action game, Black Myth: Wukong puts a great deal of stress on weapons. If players have the Deluxe Edition of the game, they will receive the
Bronze Cloud Staff, which can be claimed at the first Keeper's Shrine.
Aside from that, they won't have immediate access to any other weapons. In order to be able to craft new weapons, they need to take down tough opponents, mainly after beating the Yaoguai Kings or Queens. Once they are beaten, the crafting menu will get updated. As Black Myth: Wukong players progress through the chapters, they will be able to create weapons of the highest quality. Naturally, these weapons require rare items, one of which is the
Gold Tree Core.

Opening the doors in the Pagoda Realm requires Black Myth: Wukong players to undertake the task of beating a Yaoguai Chief.
How To Get The Golden Tree Core In Black Myth: Wukong
The
Gold Tree Core is a rare and valuable resource that cannot be obtained easily. Players will have to work a bit hard for it. So far, there are only three known ways to get the Gold Tree Core.
- Beating enemies
- Opening chests
- Buying it from the Keeper's Shrine
At first glance, neither of the three options looks easy, and truth be told, none of them are. They require exploring every area completely, which may not be everyone's cup of tea. By foraging every region, players are likely to come across chests that may contain the Golden Tree Core. Players are likely to find it in Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong.
Some of the enemies in the game, mainly the stronger ones, are capable of dropping the
Gold Tree Core as rewards upon being beaten. Like the Fine Gold Thread, most of these bosses are present in Chapter 4 of the game.
Finally, the simplest and easiest way to get
Gold Tree Core is by taking a look at the stock at the Keeper's Shrine. Whenever players enter a new area after chapter 3, they should make sure to check the wares to see if the
Gold Tree Core is in stock.
Gold Tree Cores are a bit pricey, so make sure that you have enough Will.
How To Use The Gold Tree Core In Black Myth: Wukong
Make Some Of The Best Weapons In The Game
The
Gold Tree Core is needed to make legendary weapons in Black Myth: Wukong, making it a very useful resource. However, there are quite a few weapons that need this particular resource, so players should be careful which one they pick, as gathering them again will be cumbersome. Ideally, they can hold on to their Gold Tree Cores and use them when they think they have found a weapon that suits their style.
