Black Myth: Wukong gives players the freedom to choose their own weapons, armor, spells, and transformations. They are free to pick and craft weapons to make their journey easier.
With so many weapons to choose from, one can't help but wonder which is the best weapon in the game. The answer is Sun Wukong's
Jingubang Staff. However, players will have to complete certain tasks before they can claim the Jingubang for themselves. This guide covers all the prerequisites that Black Myth: Wukong players must meet to obtain Sun Wukong's weapon.
Black Myth: Wukong— How To Beat Yellow Loong (Golden Loong Staff Location)
The Yellow Loong is the fourth and final Loong boss in Black Myth: Wukong.
How To Get Jingubang Staff In Black Myth: Wukong
Players Must Defeat Four Powerful Foes
Players cannot obtain Jingubang Staff until they defeat four specific bosses on Mount Huaguo. They need to take down the following enemies:
- Gold Armored Rhino
- Cloudtreading Deer
- Feng-Tail General
- Emerald-Armed Mantis
Each of these four bosses is challenging in its own way, so players won't be able to waltz through the fights. In fact, they need to approach the fights with different strategies.
For the Gold Armored Rhino fight, players need to attack its horn with a heavy attack to break it. Alternatively, they can use a Spirit such as the Wandering Wight, as its attack can also break it. Once the horn is broken, keep attacking until it regrows, then repeat the same process.
The Cloudtreading Deer is also rather challenging, but it does not have an ability akin to the Gold Armored Rhino. Learn its attacking patterns to take it down. The Feng-Tail General is a gimmick boss, and beating it requires players to have high health and stamina. If you cannot beat it, try equipping different curios and upgrading your health.
The Emerald-Armed Mantis fight won't start unless you have been the three bosses. Once they have been conquered, head to the tree with the golden leaves. Move a bit forward and a cutscene will play, after which, players will have to fight the Emerald-Armed Mantis.
Beating all four bosses will allow players to get all pieces of Sun Wukong's armor.
Where To Find Jingubang Staff In Black Myth: Wukong
To find the Jingubang Staff, players need to get on the Somersault Cloud and follow these steps:
- Keep ascending until the tree with golden leaves (found near the Emerald-Armed Mantis fight) is below you. Start moving in this direction, but keep to the left.
- As you reach this area, make sure there is another tree with golden leaves.
- Carefully look around, and you should find the path leading to the waterfall.
- Drop-down and keep running till you're at the edge. From here, jump and follow the path.
- Ultimately, players will find a massive staff stuck in the ground. Approach it to trigger a cutscene.
- Once it is over, players will get the Jingubang Staff, which is arguably the best weapon in the game.
