The Wind Tamer is the second Vessel that players will get their hands on in the second chapter of Black Myth: Wukong. To acquire the Vessel, players must first make their way to the Secret Kingdom of Sahali. This secret location is locked behind an NPC's questline, so get ready to hunt for a few items before accessing the area. There is also a trophy tied to a boss encounter along the way for players who are keen on collecting all the trophies for Platinum.
This comprehensive guide includes details on obtaining the Wind Tamer Vessel and all the prerequisites for unlocking the secret area in Black: Myth Wukong.
Black Myth: Wukong - All Yellow Wind Ridge Pill Locations
Black Myth: Wukong has valuable items called Celestial Pills, which increase Attributes. Here is where players can find the ones in Yellow Wind Ridge.
How To Reach the Kingdom Of Sahali
The first step to reaching the Secret Kingdom is reaching the Rockrest Flat Keeper's Shrine and talking to the Drunken Pig NPC, who is not far from the Shrine. The NPC will ask you to bring him a Key Item called a "
Sobering Stone". You can buy this from the Man-in-Stone NPC if you have completed his questline. The alternative way is to defeat the Tiger Vanguard at the Crouching Tiger Temple and reach the Windrest Bridge Keeper's Shrine. There should be a hut towards the back-left of this area with the
Sobering Stone inside a pot.
Return to the Drunken Pig and give him the Stone, and he will move to the Crouching Tiger Temple. Teleport to the Keeper's Shrine there and talk to him. He will ask you to bring him the
Jade Lotus. This material is relatively easy to find, and fans of games inspired by Chinese mythology can find it in a pool of water near the Village Entrance Keeper's Shrine. Bring the
Jade Lotus to him, and he will mention a piece of gold.
You need the
Arhat Gold Piece, which the First Prince of Flowing Sands drops in the Valley of Despair. Bring this item to the Drunken Pig near Rockrest Flat, and a boss fight with him will begin. After defeating him, he will go through the crack in the door, and you can follow him. This will initiate a cutscene, after which you will be teleported to the Kingdom of Sahali.
A more extensive guide on the Drunken Pig can be found here.
Black Myth Wukong: All New West Boss Locations (Chapter 3)
This guide will help players find all the Yaoguai Kings and Chiefs in Black Myth: Wukong's New West, the location at the center of Chapter 3.
How To Get Wind Tamer Vessel In Black Myth: Wukong
After arriving in the Kingdom of Sahali, you will meet the Tiger Vanguard boss, a fearsome foe. Upon defeating him, he will ask you to help the Yellow Wind Sage, standing near the Sandgate Bound Keeper's Shrine. A cutscene will begin where the Sage will ask for your help against Fuban by seizing its Vessel at the right time. Head down the slope, and you will slide to the boss fight.
For the first phase, Fuban only has a few attacks, which, even though hit hard, are extremely easy to dodge.
Its outer shell is impenetrable to damage, so you must focus all your attacks on its claws.
After reaching almost 50% of its health, it will retreat into the sand, and there will be a section where you have to dodge it coming at you from the sky. The Yellow Wind Sage will now help you in the fight, and soon, you can take down this boss.
After the fight, you will be teleported outside the gates of the Kingdom and will get the
Wind Tamer as a reward for beating Fuban.
