Black Myth: Wukong gives players many different spells to use in combat, each requiring Mana to cast. Mana is represented by the blue bar found right below your health in the bottom left corner of the screen and will be used each time you cast a spell.
As you upgrade your spells, there will be options to make a spell more powerful but will require more Mana to cast. Mana will need to be managed while exploring and during longer boss fights. Here's how to recover your Mana.

How To Recover Mana In Black Myth: Wukong
Unlike your stamina, which regenerates naturally, and your health, which requires the gourd, there is no potion or item to recover Mana aside from resting at a Shrine or respawning after death. While there is no clear way to recover Mana, there are a few skill upgrades players can unlock that help your spells set you up to get Mana back by using the spell in combat.

Spell & Upgrade Name |
Explanation |
|---|---|
|
Recovers a moderate amount of Mana upon crashing an immobilized enemy. This requires a very powerful hit on an immobilized enemy that will break them out of the spell but stagger them backward. |
|
|
Recovers a considerable amount of Mana upon a successful Deflection. |
Both of these methods require Mana to first cast the spell, making them better for keeping your Mana high than restoring it when depleted.
Players can also craft and use the
Galeguard Greaves which can be crafted with Silk and has the unique effect of restoring a moderate amount of Mana after performing three consecutive Perfect Dodges within a short time. This is the best method for restoring Mana as it can be done even when all your Mana has already been used up, through it will require you to master the Perfect Dodge and face an enemy attacking you in quick succession.

How To Increase Maximum Mana In Black Myth: Wukong
While it's important to try and restore your Mana when possible, increasing your maximum Mana will leave more room for error should you use the spell methods. Players can increase their maximum Mana by finding
Celestial Taiyi Pill throughout the world, which offer a slight but permanent boost in maximum Mana. After reaching level 30, players can also upgrade the
Spiritual Awakening skill in the Survival skill tree, which also boosts your maximum Mana slightly.
