The brutally-difficult game is launching as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive, though it is also available on PC.
I reviewed Black Myth: Wukong on PC, and that version also had a gigantic file size. In fact, those that plan on playing Black Myth: Wukong on PC can expect to set aside a staggering 128.68 GB. The PS5 version of the game isn't quite as big, but it is still one of the bigger file sizes that the PS5 has seen to date.
Black Myth: Wukong on PS5 requires 104 GB of free space, with those interested able to preload the game right now. Black Myth: Wukong isn't an open world game, but it does feature intensive graphics, with high-quality character models, animations, and environments. And while it's not an open world, it is still quite large. My initial playthrough of Black Myth: Wukong took about 30 hours to get to the final boss, and despite my best efforts at thoroughly searching each area, I still missed quite a lot of side content in the process.

It will definitely be interesting to see how PS5 gamers react to all the content in Black Myth: Wukong once they get their hands on the game.
Whenever Black Myth: Wukong's Xbox version releases, fans on that platform can expect the game to boast a similar file size to its PS5 counterpart, though there have been times when the PS5 and Xbox versions of the same game have had different file sizes. It may be some time before fans learn how much space Black Myth: Wukong will take up on Xbox, as that version of the game is currently without a release date.
