Black Myth Wukong: Treasure Hunter Side Quest Walkthrough
Find Treasure Hunter Near North Shore of the Bitter Lake
Players who want to complete the treasure hunter's side quest in Black Myth: Wukong should begin at the North Shore of the Bitter Lake Keeper's Shrine in the New West. Fans should then position themselves so that the ocean is on their left and follow the coast to pass through an ornate red gate.
Beyond that gate, players will encounter a structure, and the treasure hunter, surrounded by three enemies, in front of it. Fans should now fight those Yaoguai in Black Myth: Wukong and then speak with the treasure hunter until he no longer has new lines of dialogue.
If the treasure hunter is not in this location, players should simply move on to the next step.
Find Treasure Hunter Near Towers of Karma
Players must now make their way to the Towers of Karma Keeper's Shrine in the Valley of Ecstasy. While some fans may have already found that checkpoint, here are details on how to reach it when starting from the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine:
- Follow the path that travels under the wooden gate that is near to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine.
- Continue along the path to pass under a second wooden gate.
- Continue along the path and stop just in front of a third wooden gate.
- Turn left, follow the downward slope, and pass under a fourth wooden gate.
- There are stairs just beyond the fourth gate, and the Towers of Karma Keeper's Shrine is at the bottom of them.
Once players reach the Towers of Karma Keeper's Shrine, they should take a moment to equip the
Ring of Fire spell. Fans should then disengage from the shrine, turn 180°, and walk forward. After traveling in that direction for a short distance, players will see the treasure hunter sitting on a tree to their right, and they should cast the Ring of Fire spell in front of him to advance the quest.
Go to Melon Field
Black Myth: Wukong players should now return to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine in the Valley of Ecstasy and follow these instructions to reach the Melon Field:
- Walk toward the wooden gate that is near to the Forest of Felicity Keeper's Shrine.
- Veer right just before reaching the gate and follow the slope downward.
- Go left when the slope runs into a large pillar, walk down the stairs, and continue descending.
- Cross the pool of water, turn left, and walk forward to reach an enemy that is standing near a cliff.
- Use the rocks and trees that extend from the side of the cliff to reach the Melon Field Keeper's Shrine.
Fight the Green-Capped Martialist
Once the Melon Field Keeper's Shrine is active, players should enter the nearby arena to initiate a battle with the Green-Capped Martialist. That fight marks the end of the treasure hunter's quest, and fans of action games will receive the
Spell Binder spell when they defeat the foe.
