There are more than 15 bosses in Black Myth: Wukong's Webbed Hollow, the location at the center of Chapter 4, and players who want to complete their Journals will need to fight them all. While many of those bosses are situated along the level's critical path, that is certainly not the case with all of them. Indeed, fans will need to explore every nook and cranny of the Webbed Hollow if they hope to find all the bosses in Black Myth: Wukong's fourth chapter, and this guide is here to assist with that endeavor.

There are two bosses in the Webbed Hollow that can become unavailable after advancing beyond certain points within Chapter 4. Those bosses are the Supreme Inspector, who can become inaccessible after entering the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master's arena, and Daoist Mi, who can become inaccessible after fighting Duskveil.

The Second Sister (Chief)

After activating the Estate of the Zhu Keeper's Shrine, Black Myth: Wukong players should ascend the stairs to the right and pass through the gate on the left to initiate the fight with the Second Sister.

Venom Daoist (Character)

While not technically a boss, the Venom Daoist has a boss-style health bar, and players will fight it twice in Chapter 4. The first encounter with the Venom Daoist occurs near the Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine. For action game fans who have yet to find that checkpoint, here is a path to follow from the Upper Hollow Keeper's Shrine:

  1. Climb the stairs to the left of the Upper Hollow Keeper's Shrine.
  2. Go left at the top of the stairs, and follow the path.
  3. Go right after descending a small flight of stairs, and drop from a wooden platform on the left.
  4. Drop again, and follow the path through a room of hanging cocoons.
  5. Continue along the path, passing through another cocoon-filled room.
  6. Continue to follow the path to ascend a ramp and reach the Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine.

After activating the Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine, players should turn right and follow the path through the room filled with cocoons. Fans of games inspired by Chinese mythology will find a large cocoon hanging from a tree beyond that room, and they should attack it until the Venom Daoist appears.

Elder Amourworm (Chief)

Players who want to battle this Yaoguai Chief in Black Myth: Wukong should first travel to the Verdure Bridge Keeper's Shrine. Here is a path that fans can use to travel from Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine to that checkpoint:

  1. Disengage from the Pool of Shattered Jade Keeper's Shrine, turn 180°, and walk forward.
  2. Cross the wooden bridges, and fall from the wooden platform at the end.
  3. Continue falling from wooden platforms to reach the Keeper's Shrine.

After activating the Verdure Bridge Keeper's Shrine, players should cross the bride to the left of the checkpoint and follow the left path. Fans that travel in this direction will eventually encounter a wooden gate, and they should pass through it, loot the chests, and continue forward to enter the Elder Amourworm arena.

Centipede Guai (Chief)

This boss can be found near the Bonevault Keeper's Shrine. Here is how to reach that checkpoint when starting from the Verdure Bridge Keeper's Shrine:

  1. Cross the bridge to the left of the Verdure Bridge Keeper's Shrine, and follow the right path to reach a series of wooden platforms.
  2. Fall from the platforms, and go right at the bottom.
  3. Follow the path through the egg-filled area to reach the Bonevault Keeper's Shrine.

Once the player arrives at the Bonevault Keeper's Shine, they should follow the path to the left and drop into Centipede Guai arena.

Buddha's Right Hand (Chief)

Players will battle Buddha's Right Hand in a corridor to the left of the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper's Shrine. To reach that checkpoint, fans of adventure games must simply follow the path that leads out of Centipede Guai arena.

Yellow Loong (King)

This boss is near the Relief of the Fallen Loong Keeper's Shrine, and players who want to battle them should reference this guide to finding the Yellow Loong in Black Myth: Wukong.

Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw (Chief)

Players should follow the path beyond the corridor where they fought Buddha's Right Hand to reach the Lower Hollow Keeper's Shrine. Fans of games with lots of bosses should then follow these steps to find Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw:

  1. Disengage from the Keeper's Shrine, turn left, and pass through the hanging cocoons.
  2. Look for a gap in the left wall beyond the cocoons, and pass through it.
  3. Follow the path and enter the opening on the left.
  4. Continue along the path to reach Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw's watery arena.

Zhu Bajie (Character)

Zhu Bajie is yet another Character in Black Myth: Wukong with a boss-style health bar, and players will fight them twice near the Hut of Immortality Keeper's Shrine, a checkpoint that can be reached by following the path beyond the Lower Hollow Keeper's Shrine. The first encounter occurs in an arena to the right of the Hut of Immortality Keeper's Shrine. The second encounter occurs while following the path to the left of the Hut of Immortality Keeper's Shrine.

Violet Spider (King)

After completing the second encounter with Zhu Bajie, players should continue following the path to reach the Gathering Cave Keeper's Shrine. The Violet Spider is in an arena just beyond that checkpoint.

Black Myth Wukong: Temple of Yellow Flowers Boss Locations

Commander Beetle (Chief)

After activating the Forest of Ferocity Keeper's Shrine, players should follow these steps to initiate a battle with Commander Beetle:

  1. Disengage from the Keeper's Shrine and go right.
  2. Turn right when forced to do so, and follow the path to ascend into a courtyard filled with training Daoists.
  3. Pass the Daoists to engage Commander Beetle.

Fungiwoman

While there is no Journal entry for Fungiwoman, she does have a boss-style health bar and is included in this guide as a result. Players who want to fight her should make their way to the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine and then follow these steps:

  1. Disengage from the Keeper's Shrine, turn 180°, and pass through the gate that is ahead.
  2. Continue forward, passing through a wooden building and climbing several small sets of stairs.
  3. Stay right at the fork to enter an area with a wooden structure and the Sunset of the Nine Skies Drink.
  4. Gather the mushrooms in the area to initiate the battle with Fungiwoman.

Venom Daoist (Character)

The second fight with the Venom Daoist occurs near the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine. Here is a path that can be used to reach this boss:

  1. Disengage from the Keeper's Shrine, turn 180°, and pass through the gate that is ahead.
  2. Continue forward, passing through a wooden building and climbing several small sets of stairs.
  3. Go left at the fork to descend into the Venom Daoist's arena.

Supreme Inspector

Players can earn the Crane Immortal (Character) Journal entry by battling the Supreme Inspector. To fight this boss, players must collect the talismans at these four locations, and the battle occurs after grabbing the final one in an arena just beyond the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine:

Talisman #1

  • Start at the Verdure Bridge Keeper's Shrine (Webbed Hollow).
  • Cross the bridge to the left of the checkpoint, and follow the left path.
  • Pass the wooden gate, and follow the path on the left.
  • Pass through the hanging cocoons, and go left at the fork.
  • Continue forward, ascending staircases as they appear.
  • At the top of the final staircase, cross the bridge to the right and head forward to the obelisk with the first talisman.

Talisman #2

  • Go to the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper's Shrine (Webbed Hollow).
  • The obelisk with the second talisman is in the pool of water to the right of that checkpoint.

Talisman #3

  • Go to the Relief of the Fallen Loong Keeper's Shrine (Webbed Hollow).
  • Follow the path to the left of the checkpoint, stopping at the edge of a cliff.
  • Navigate around the cliff, and follow the slope up to the obelisk with the third talisman.

Talisman #4

  • Go to the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine (Temple of Yellow Flowers).
  • Ascend the stairs just past the checkpoint to reach the obelisk with the fourth talisman.

Players who enter the Hundred-Eyed Doaist Master's arena before collecting three talismans will not be able to fight the Supereme Inspector.

Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master (King)

Players should pass through the gate to the right of the Court of Illumination Keeper's Shrine to enter the arena with this Yaoguai King, the final boss in Chapter 4.

Players will unlock the following Journal entries when they defeat the Hundred-Eyed Daoist: The Six Sister (Chief), The Fifth Sister (Chief), The Fourth Sister (Chief), The Third Sister (Chief), The First Sister (Chief), Hong Yi (Character).

Black Myth Wukong: Purple Cloud Mountain

Players can access this secret area in Black Myth: Wukong by defeating the Venom Daoist in the Webbed Hollow and the Temple of Yellow Flowers. After beating the Venom Daoist in the Temple of Yellow Flowers, fans should interact with the painting on the wall to travel to Purple Cloud Mountain.

Daoist Mi (Chief)

Players should begin at the Petalfall Hamlet Keeper's Shrine, which is reached by following the path beyond the Valley of Blooms Keeper's Shrine. Fans should then climb the stairs that are past the checkpoint and speak with the flute-playing character at the top. After talking to that character, players should defeat the enemies in the area until they receive the Violet Hail (Key Items) and then deliver that item to the flute-playing character to initiate a battle with Daoist Mi.

The flute-playing character disappears when Duskveil is defeated, and players will not be able to fight Daoist Mi when that occurs.

The Scorpionlord (King)

Players can battle this boss by climbing the stairs next to the Bounds of Deity’s Abode Keeper's Shrine and breaking the barrels on the ground next to the house that they encounter. Here is a path that fans of games with RPG elements can use to travel from the Valley of Blooms Keeper's Shrine to this checkpoint:

  1. Disengage from the Valley of Blooms Keeper's Shrine, turn left, and jump into the small pool.
  2. Cross the pool, continue forward, and turn left upon reaching a ledge.
  3. Travel forward and pass through a wooden gate to reach the Bounds of Deity's Abode Keeper's Shrine.

If the player does not fight the Scorpionlord in this location, it will assist them in the upcoming battle against Duskveil. Fans who pursue this opportunity will still receive Scorpionlord's Journal entry.

The Duskveil (King)

This is the final boss in Purple Cloud Mountain, and players can find it by climbing the stairs next to the Cloudnest Peak Keeper's Shrine.
