Black Myth: Wukong gives players lots of tools to use in battle to help give them the edge against whatever enemy they are facing. While a lot of skills and upgrades are permanent bonuses, there are consumables that offer brief boosts to specific stats that make boss fights much easier when needed.

Resources in Black Myth: Wukong are limited, so it's important to know when the best time to use a specific item is. Even though resources are limited, crafting materials such as Snake-Head Mushroom can still be found in large numbers if you know where to look.

Where To Get Snake-Head Mushrooms In Black Myth: Wukong

Snake-Head Mushrooms are most commonly found when gathering groups of mushrooms found on the ground throughout the Black Wind Mountain region of Chapter 1. They appear as clumps of glowing yellow-tipped mushrooms that will often be found off the main paths throughout the mountain region. Gathering a clump of mushrooms usually results in two Snake-Head Mushrooms.

These clumps of mushrooms do not respawn, making one thorough run through the Black Wind Mountain region all it takes to collect all there is to find. Players can also get Snake-Head Mushroom by purchasing them through the Shrine Store for 120 Will a piece. Not every Shrine store in each chapter will sell Snake-Head Mushrooms, so you will need to progress to later chapters in the game in order to keep buying more, but the total number you can buy is limited throughout the game.

What Are Snake-Head Mushrooms Used For

Snake-Head Mushrooms are an uncommon crafting material that is used to make the following mortal medicines:

Amplification Pellets

Moderately boosts the Critical Hit Chance of the player for a long period of time.

Tiger Subduing Pellets

Moderately boosts the player's damage for a long period of time.

Both of these mortal medicines are offensively focused and pair well with a high focus point build to deal lots of damage quickly to bosses. These mortal medicines can also be purchased at shrine shops or found in chests, but the best method for getting them is by gathering the ingredients to craft yourself. Both of the other crafting materials listed above can be found in abundance in the first two chapters of the game, making it easy for players to stock up on these useful medicines for the later sections of the game.
