Crafting new armor and weapons will quickly be unlocked as players progress through the main story of Black Myth: Wukong. Crafting new gear pieces will be one of the main ways players get stronger, with upgrading your staff offering a flat boost in damage done. While there is a skill that can upgrade your damage, it requires players to reach a fairly high level, making staff upgrades your best bet for the first few chapters of the game.

Right away, staff upgrades will require Stone Spirit, an Uncommon crafting material that can be farmed fairly easily in Chapter 2. Farming Stone Spirits will also help players level up quickly, making it a simple yet effective activity to make you stronger in preparation for the next boss.

How To Farm Stone Spirits In Black Myth: Wukong

Stone Spirit s can be purchased from the Store in the first Chapter, looted from chests, or dropped from enemies and bosses. Stone Spirits may also be the reward for completing a chapter, but this isn't a reliable method of farming them. Travel to any Shrine in Chapter 1 and open the store to buy four Stone Spirits for 450 Will a piece.

The Store does not refresh, so supplies are limited. New stores with new stocks can be found in different chapters.

Looting chests and defeating bosses can be hit or miss as Stone Spirits is not a guaranteed drop, and may instead give the player Yaoguai Cores. While all of these methods may supply some Stone Spirits, farming them from specific enemies is your best bet to get a quick supply. Stone Spirits can be dropped by just about and monkey-sized enemy, with larger ones having the potential to drop both Stone Spirits and Yaoguai Core s. Many Rat enemies in Chapter 2 have a high chance of dropping Stone Spirits, making it an ideal chapter to farm in.

What Are Stone Spirits Used For In Black Myth: Wukong

Stone Spirit s are one of the lower-end crafting materials needed to upgrade staffs like Silk is for armor. While they are lower-end, they will still be required on some of the better staffs in the game, as the first upgrades may require this basic material before upgrading to the much higher-end materials. Even if your current staff upgrade doesn't need spirit stones, it's worthwhile to farm some so that you don't need to come back for a basic material later in the game.
