How To Get The Sterness Of Stone in Black Myth: Wukong

To get Sternness of Stone, you need to defeat the Stone Vanguard boss found in the Fright Cliffs, close to the Rockrest Flat Shrine. This is a mandatory boss fight, so the chances of you missing out on this item are slim.

If you’re not sure how to get to the Rockrest Flat Shrine, simply go back to the Valley of Despair Keeper's Shrine in Sandgate Village. On the opposite side of the arena, you’ll see a wooden rope bridge. Cross this bridge and continue following the trail through the gate while defeating any enemies that stop you.

You'll eventually come to the Squall Hideout Shrine and can go either left or right — both paths will take you to the Rockcrest Flat Shrine. Look past the rock where the shrine is situated, and you'll spot a gate in the distance. Going through it will take you to an arena where you'll need to battle the Stone Vanguard.

How To Defeat Stone Vanguard Boss in Black Myth: Wukong

The Stone Vanguard is a massive rock monster with a large health pool and damaging AoE attacks. He also has the power to summon a horde of explosive rock minions that can drain a big chunk of your health. Thankfully, his attacks are pretty easy to dodge if you get the timing right.

You can also use the Cloud Step Spell, dropped by the Black Wind King, to evade the Stone Vanguard’s attacks and create openings for counterattacks. Defeating the Stone Vanguard drops the Sterness of Stone.
