From the Valley of Despair Keeper's Shrine, head towards the cave, which will take you to an area where you can fight the First Prince of the Flowing Sands. On the right is a path leading to a wall you can go through to fight Swift Bat, who drops his Spirit for you to collect. How To Find Xu Dog In Yellow Wind Ridge

Has A Wide Variety of Pills For Purchase

To acquire more Celestial Pills, you must find Xu Dog in the second chapter. From the Village Entrance Shrine, go right off the bridge toward the NPC hiding behind the rock. He will tell you that a toad swallowed up his formulas, so you can go down and deal with the boss, Lang-Li-Guhh-Baww.

This boss shouldn't pose much of a threat, especially with the Immobolize Spell.

After the fight, talk to him again, and he will leave. After accessing the Crouching Tiger Temple Cellar, you will find Xu-Dog beside a furnace close to the Keeper's Shrine.

Talk to Xu-Dog, and this will open up a shop where you can buy medicine and Celestial Pills. However, there is a limit on how many of these Pills you can buy in exchange for Mind Cores and Will.
