Black Ops 6 and Warzone's Season 3 have a heavy emphasis on bringing back blasts from the past, with a major focus on reviving good old Verdansk, along with bringing back some classic weapons from 2019's Modern Warfare reboot. However, that's not all the content that players can enjoy, as some goodies have also made their debut for Multiplayer and Zombies.
Both Multiplayer and Zombies fans get a share of the content available in Warzone Season 3, notably weapons like the Kilo 141, but can also enjoy exclusive locations like the Shattered Veil for Zombies, and Barrage for Multiplayer. Following the trend of returning content, however, players can also get their hands on the Death Machine once again, which marked its debut in a nostalgia-driven event. Here is how to get it.
Call Of Duty Warzone: 10 Best Weapons, Ranked
The Black Ops 6 integration has changed the meta once again for Warzone. Here are the 10 best weapons to use in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2.
How To Unlock The Death Machine In Black Ops 6
The Death Machine is one of the many free rewards available through the Black Ops Tribute Event, active in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone. To unlock it, players must earn a total of 617,000 XP during the event’s runtime and own Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Once unlocked, the Death Machine can be equipped as a Scorestreak in Multiplayer and crafted in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
The Death Machine isn’t entirely exclusive to the Black Ops Tribute Event. Once the event ends on May 1 at 10 AM PT, it will become available as an Armory Unlock in Black Ops 6 for players who didn’t unlock it during the event.
How To Get The Death Machine In Multiplayer & Zombies
Much like the War Machine, the Death Machine is a Scorestreak available in both Multiplayer and Zombies, with different methods required to acquire it in each mode. In Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, players can equip the Death Machine as one of their available Scorestreaks after unlocking it. From there, they’ll need to earn 825 Score Points through a mix of eliminations and objective play to activate it during a match.
In Zombies, however, the Death Machine becomes available via the Crafting Bench on any map once it’s unlocked. Players can then craft the Death Machine for 1,750 Salvage. Once crafted, it will occupy its only Scorestreak slot, similar to how the Mangler Cannon or Mutant Injection does. Unfortunately, despite being featured in previous iterations of Call of Duty Zombies, there is no Death Machine Power-Up.
Regardless of the mode, the Death Machine can be activated by pressing the Scorestreak button. Once activated, players gain access to a fast-firing Minigun with 250 total rounds, each dealing incredibly high damage.
Players can aim down sights with the Death Machine to spin the barrel, allowing them to shoot without a delay, or simply spin the barrel from the hip by pressing the fire button. The Death Machine can also be wielded in both modes until all ammunition is depleted, or until the player is eliminated while it is equipped.
