Season 3 of Black Ops 6 and Warzone is all about nostalgia, taking players on a trip down memory lane with the return of fan-favorite content. Following the trend of past events in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, the Black Ops Tribute Event gives players the chance to earn a range of free rewards by hitting specific XP milestones. To unlock these rewards, players simply need to earn XP by playing any mode in Black Ops 6 or Warzone.

This allows players to snag free cosmetics, Perks, and a new weapon simply by playing passively. However, it’s worth noting that some milestone rewards are exclusive to Black Ops 6 owners, meaning Warzone-only players may miss out on certain cosmetics and items.

How To Unlock The John Black Ops Operator In Black Ops 6 & Warzone

The John Black Ops Operator is one of two Mastery Rewards available during the Black Ops Tribute Event. To unlock it, players must earn all previous event rewards by accumulating 617,000 XP throughout the event’s duration. However, the John Black Ops Operator is exclusive to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 owners, meaning players who only own Warzone will not be able to unlock it.

This Operator can also only be earned during the Black Ops Tribute Event’s runtime, and once the event ends, it’s unlikely to return. After unlocking the John Black Ops Operator, players can use it in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

The Black Ops Tribute Event begins on April 17 at 10 AM PT and will run until May 1 at 10 AM PT. Once the event concludes, rewards such as the Nail Gun, Death Machine, 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags for the C9, and the Close Shave Perk will be added to the Armory in Black Ops 6 for players who didn’t unlock them during the event. The Thermite, however, is expected to be available in the Armory for Warzone for those who missed it.
