Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 dedicates much of its content to reviving the best aspects of recent titles, bringing back familiar battlegrounds like Verdansk and Firing Range, along with iconic weapons like the Grau 5.56. Season 3’s in-season content continues to pay tribute to older games, especially with the arrival of a unique event.
Weapons like the Nail Gun aren’t the only returning features in Season 3’s in-season content, as another blast from the past has resurfaced in the form of the 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags for the C9. This attachment was last seen in Modern Warfare 2019 for the MP5 and offers some neat benefits for those who choose to equip it with the C9 Submachine Gun. Here’s how to get the C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

How To Unlock The C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags In Black Ops 6 & Warzone
The C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags is one of the many free rewards tied to the Black Ops Tribute Event, which is live for both games for a limited time. To unlock it, players will need to earn a total of 248,000 XP in Black Ops 6 and Warzone during the event’s runtime. Upon doing so, it will become available as a magazine attachment that can be equipped on the C9 Submachine Gun.
Following the end of the Black Ops Tribute Event on May 1 at 10 AM PT, the C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags will be made available as an Armory Unlock for those who did not obtain it during the event.
How Good Are The C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags?
The C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags are a solid attachment for the C9 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, effectively enhancing the weapon’s ability to kill faster and perform better at range. When equipped, the C9 gains an increase in base damage across the board, and a boost to bullet velocity. Although the weapon’s overall fire rate is slightly reduced, the C9 10mm Auto 30-Round Mags actually improves its base TTK across virtually all ranges.
However, there are a few trade-offs to consider. Recoil gun kick and vertical recoil control both take a slight hit, making the weapon's accuracy a bit tougher to manage at longer distances without compensating attachments. Additionally, players are locked into a 30-round magazine capacity, which, while manageable in Multiplayer, can feel limiting in Warzone—especially when facing multiple enemies in quick succession.
