How To Unlock The Nail Gun In Black Ops 6 & Warzone

The Nail Gun is one of the two free Mastery Rewards tied to the Black Ops Tribute Event for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, unlocked alongside the John Black Ops Operator Skin. To get it, players will need to complete all XP milestones and unlock every reward within the Black Ops Tribute Event, which totals 617,000 XP throughout the event's runtime.

Once unlocked, the Nail Gun will be available to equip to any player’s loadout in all modes as a Special Weapon. This means players can wield it as a Secondary in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Warzone, or as their main weapon if they wish to equip it as a starter option in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

How Good Is The Nail Gun In Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

The Nail Gun is an interesting choice when it comes to Secondary options in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Damage-wise, it is the strongest weapon among the full-auto Secondary options, and sits just behind every other semi-auto option, besides the Stryder.22. The handling attributes of the weapon are also pretty admirable, boasting an impressively fast aim-down-sight and sprint-to-fire speed.

However, there are a few drawbacks. Firstly, the weapon has extremely poor bullet velocity, which makes it one of the very few weapons where players need to lead their shots from afar in Multiplayer. The weapon’s iron sights are also pretty obstructive, and the combination of horizontal and vertical bounce makes it relatively ineffective beyond close range. While the weapon does have a small magazine size of 15 rounds in Multiplayer, it boasts double the amount of rounds per magazine in Warzone.
