The Shattered Veil may just be the biggest map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, bringing players into the much-anticipated mansion first teased in the Liberty Falls intro cutscene prior to the game’s launch. The map is packed with content, featuring a variety of returning Wonder Weapons, an intricate map design, and terrifying new enemies to face.

That's not all, however, as in true Zombies fashion, Shattered Veil doesn’t just offer a thrilling main quest; it’s also filled with a range of side Easter Eggs and hidden secrets. Each Easter Egg is unique, with some providing incredible rewards. Here is a rundown of every known Easter Egg in the Shattered Veil in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Main Easter Egg Quest

The Shattered Veil throws players into yet another Main Easter Egg Quest, this time bringing them face-to-face with S.A.M. Before setting off on a mission to power the Sentinel Artifact recovered from The Tomb, all to rescue Samantha Maxis from the Dark Aether. But, as always, not everything is quite as it seems.

With a gauntlet of challenging steps, hidden quest items, and secret areas to uncover, the Shattered Veil Easter Egg Quest can be tricky to complete. For players seeking help to beat it, be sure to check out our full Main Easter Egg Quest guide here.

Acquiring The Ray Gun Mark II & Ray Gun Mark II Variants

While acquiring the Ray Gun Mark II and its various special upgrades is a critical part of the Shattered Veil’s Quest, the steps involved are so intricate that they could almost be considered two separate Easter Eggs. Players can snag a free Ray Gun Mark II from the Armory, but they’ll first need to track down a severed hand to unlock the weapon’s case. For those wanting to breeze through this Mark II Quest, be sure to check out our dedicated guide here.

Beyond simply earning the Ray Gun Mark II, players must also unlock Ray Gun Mark II Variants, each serving as a key to completing trials in the Liminal Spaces within the Shattered Veil mansion. These powerful upgrades include the Ray Gun Mark II-W, the Ray Gun Mark II-R, and the Ray Gun Mark II-P. If players need a step-by-step guide on unlocking each variant, don’t miss our full walkthrough here.

Free Wunderwaffe DG-2 Easter Egg

The Ray Gun Mark II isn’t the only fan-favorite Wonder Weapon making a return in the Shattered Veil. The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is back as well, and while obtaining it isn’t necessary for completing Shattered Veil’s Main Quest, players can actually skip relying on the Mystery Box entirely by completing a side Easter Egg.

To unlock it, players need to first acquire a Ray Gun Variant, progress through a portion of the Main Quest, and then track down several everyday items, each tied to its own ritual. For players looking to breeze through the Free Wunderwaffe DG-2 Easter Egg, check out our full walkthrough here.

Free Power-Ups

If there’s one thing players can count on in Black Ops 6 Zombies, it’s that every map offers a selection of free power-ups for players to collect. The Shattered Veil features a total of eight free power-ups, each hidden across different areas of the map—with the final one only appearing after all others have been collected. For players looking to maximize their Essence early or snag a free Fire Sale, be sure to check out our full guide on finding every free power-up in Shattered Veil.

S.A.M. Trap Easter Egg

This next Easter Egg upgrades S.A.M., the AI who has been assisting the crew throughout the maps leading up to The Shattered Veil, into a laser trap. To complete this Easter Egg, players must reboot three computers scattered across the map to acquire a floppy disk. Once collected, take the disk to the computer at the Security Overlook to activate S.A.M. As a powerful laser trap. For a detailed walkthrough on this Easter Egg, check out our full guide here.

Shattered Veil Music Easter Egg

Just like many maps before it, The Shattered Veil features its own hidden Easter Egg Song that players can play by tracking down three different Mr. Peeks Headphones. Once all three have been found and interacted with, "Falling to Pieces" by Kevin Sherwood (featuring Malukah) will kick in. For players wanting to find every headset and trigger Shattered Veil’s Music Easter Egg, be sure to check out our dedicated guide here.

Mr. Peeks Easter Egg (Pet Donut)

The Shattered Veil Music Easter Egg isn’t the only hidden quest featuring Mr. Peeks—players can also piece together the cuddly toy to unlock a friendly pet Vermin named Donut. To complete this Easter Egg, players must find six different Mr. Peeks parts scattered around the map and assemble them over at the Motor Court.

Once built, Mr. Peeks will summon Donut, a Vermin that can evolve into a Parasite and eventually a Doppelghast, all while fighting alongside the player. For those looking to summon this powerful ally, be sure to check out our full Mr. Peeks Easter Egg guide here.

Jumpscare Easter Egg

Much like The Tomb, the Shattered Veil has its own Jumpscare Easter Egg, but this time it rewards players with various loot upon completion. To trigger it, players must reach round 13 and, using a Thermal Scope, spot a ghostly figure that appears in different windows around the mansion.

After spotting the figure, players can approach an Antique Mirror to trigger the jumpscare, then loot the mirror for a free Perk and other valuable rewards. For those wanting a full breakdown on how to complete this scary Easter Egg, check out our dedicated walkthrough here.

Free Random Perk Easter Egg

The Jumpscare Easter Egg isn't the only secret that rewards players with a free Perk, as a free Random Perk can be earned during the Main Quest. After completing the step where they obtain the Metal Hip Flask, players can ring the bell they placed on the bar at the Overlook 115 times to spawn a Random Perk power-up. For those unsure of how to reach this point in the Main Quest, be sure to check out our full Free Random Perk Easter Egg guide here.

Sleepwalking Easter Egg

Continuing the trend of rewarding Easter Eggs, the Sleepwalking Easter Egg offers players a chance to grab some seriously high-tier loot. To start this Easter Egg, players need to reach round 11 and interact with the grandfather clock in the Study. After that, they must head to the Director's Quarters and lie prone on the bed just as the round changes to round 12. Doing so will cause all zombies to fall asleep and spawn a loot crate at the end of a glowing footprint trail.

To claim the loot, players must crouch-walk along the trail to avoid waking any zombies, loot a key from a special zombie, and use it to unlock the crate for some free top-tier rewards. Need help fulfilling the steps? Check out our full Sleepwalking Easter Egg guide here.

Free Pack-a-Punched Marine SP Easter Egg

Shotgun fans will be happy to hear that the Shattered Veil offers a way to get a free Epic-rarity Pack-a-Punched Marine SP, though pulling it off isn’t exactly easy. To kick off this Easter Egg, players need to have a Rare Marine SP and the Death Perception Perk, both of which are needed to find a special spot within the Banquet Hall to place the Shotgun.

From there, players must fill the Marine SP with souls by killing zombies while a specific Field Upgrade is active, then take down Elite enemies to upgrade the Shotgun. This process can be repeated to bump up the weapon’s rarity and get it Pack-a-Punched without spending any Essence. Check out our full guide here for a step-by-step breakdown of this Easter Egg.

Little Vermin Easter Egg

Though the final Easter Egg on The Shattered Veil may not offer the most powerful rewards, it’s a fun nod to an old Black Ops 2 meme. The Little Vermin Easter Egg starts with players looting a mini Vermin from the Supply Depot, then taking it to a dish in the Mainframe Chamber, where it needs to be doused in chemicals and cooked in a microwave. Afterward, the Vermin can be taken to a blood pool near the Pack-a-Punch.

Next, players can shoot a fan using the Wunderwaffe DG-2, which sucks up the Vermin, and then call in a Chopper Gunner to shoot several chimneys on the mansion that emit red smoke. This will cause a thick fog to roll into the Shattered Veil, with Aether Crystals spawning all over the map for players to loot. While the process is a bit convoluted, here's a more detailed guide for those who want to take a crack at this Easter Egg themselves.
