It's a relatively simple easter egg for the Black Ops 6 Zombies map, Shattered Veil, and this step-by-step guide will easily help players to make sure their version of S.A.M. Becomes a great mechanical ball of death so that they have a robot ally on their side at all times.

Step 1: Interact with the Security Overlook Computer

The first step requires players to have Pack-a-Punch unlocked. Once players reach the Mainframe Chamber, head upstairs into the Security Overlook room where Pack-a-Punch is located, and then to the left of that is a computer with a yellow screen. Interact with the computer to change the screen's prompt to: System Rebooting...

Step 2: Interact with the Study Computer

The second step must be done on the same round that they interacted with the computer in the Security Overlook area. For this step, head to the Study, which is a room between the Library and the Elemental Pop perk machine. There is a desk here with a computer with a yellow screen, and players can interact with it to change the screen's prompt to: System Rebooting...

Step 3: Wait a Round and Interact with the Overlook Computer

Once players have interacted with both the Security Overlook computer and the Study computer, it's time to head into the Grand Foyer and head upstairs to the back left of the room, where there is yet another terminal with a yellow screen. Players will need to i nteract with this screen to get the prompt to change to System Rebooting, but only after a round has passed.

Step 4: Wait a Round and Interact with the West Hallways Computer

The next step involves the last computer, which can be interacted with in the next round from the Overlook computer. This computer is found in the West Hallways, which are to the left of the Grand Foyer. Once players have interacted with the computer for the System Rebooting screen, they will have to wait until the next round for the computer terminal to show a red screen where it's been infected with a virus. Now, interact with the PC box underneath the desk to eject a floppy disk, which can be interacted with again to pick it up.

Step 5: Infect S.A.M. With the Floppy Disk at the Security Overlook

The next and final step to upgrade S.A.M. Into a trap in Shattered Veil is done by returning to the first computer in the Security Overlook area above the Mainframe Chamber by Pack-a-Punch. Underneath the desk in the PC at the Security Overlook, players can interact with it to place the floppy disk, which will change the terminal's prompt to: Cleaning... After a few moments, players can interact with the terminal to change the screen to System Rebooting...

The final step requires players to g o into the next round, where the computer screen should now be red, and will say Sam Infected. Interact with the computer, and S.A.M. Will now periodically spin around and fire a red laser beam from its eye to kill zombies instantly. This lasts a fairly long time, and players can repeat this L4Z3R.EXE trap for 2,000 Essence by interacting with the Security Overlook terminal every round.
