Some complaints have risen in recent years about Call of Duty Zombies not being scary enough compared to its predecessors, yet there is one secret that has just been uncovered in Black Ops 6’s Terminus map that will put that complaint to rest, and those who are claustrophobic or have a fear of elevators might want to avoid what happens next.

While there is no reward for this secret easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies, it’s still extremely creepy and worth doing, especially if you’re taking a friend along for the ride and they have no idea of the horrors that they are about to see with this Terminus map jumpscare.

Jump Inside the Maglev Elevator at the Holding Cells

Once players have turned on the power across the map with the 3 AMP generators, return to the spawning area of the Holding Cells. Players can call the Maglev Elevator at the back of the room. When the cooldown runs out, head inside the Maglev Elevator and spend 500 Essence to take it down to the Bio Lab. However, it’s important that as the doors close, start spamming the jump button (X/A/Space).

If done correctly, ominous laughter will play, much like the classic heard in the Game Over screen at Nacht der Untoten and beyond from Call of Duty: World at War. If players hear this sound, then get ready for a rollercoaster of frights, as the elevator will slowly descend with countless Amalgams and glowing zombie eyes encasing the surrounding areas of the elevator now cased in blood and guts.
