Blade & Sorcery is among the more popular sandbox games in recent years. People love this first-person title not just for the effective VR functionality, but also because of the wide assortment of weapons. The game provides players with numerous tools of death and destruction, leading to endlessly creative ways to bash each other's brains out.
For better or worse, however, warfare always has room for expansion. To further the personalization (or for some sadistic fun), several gamers have expanded their arsenals through mods. Some of these additions are natural extensions of the medieval fantasy aesthetic. Others are so outlandish that they practically break both the game and one's immersion. That doesn't stop players from using them, though.

The idea of using guns in a medieval fantasy title sounds downright idiosyncratic. However, given how wacky Blade & Sorcery can get at times, most people would argue that guns just add to the fun factor instead of detracting from it.
This is where Fisher's Pistols Pack comes into the picture. True to its name, it adds a bunch of pistols that players can whip out in the middle of a battle to mow down their opposition.
14 Fisher's Elemental Firearms And NPC Gun Waves
While normal guns are fun to use, magic is a also huge part of Blade & Sorcery – after all, it's a part of the name itself! This is something that modders have taken into account with the integration of elemental firearms.
The idea of shooting fire and ice bullets is especially entertaining...but players shouldn't just take their opposition lightly. After all, this mod also integrates NPCs who come with the same firearms in these waves as well.
13 Mystic Hands
A player's hands are their best weapons in Blade & Sorcery. A modder took this statement literally and added giant magical hands that can be an absolutely destructive powerhouse in battle. Mystic Hands 2.0 is compatible with the Valve Index as well, making this magical attack all the more immersive. Swiping and smashing enemies with these hands never fails to be entertaining!

The Shatterblade is one of the most unique and enjoyable mods for Blade & Sorcery. The idea of using a magical blade that shatters into a multitude of pieces never fails to be entertaining.
This, coupled with its elemental powerups, makes the Shatterblade a force to be reckoned with in battle. Any person who might be getting bored of Blade & Sorcery's vanilla combat should definitely try this weapon out.
11 Slugga's Combat Overhaul
The combat of Blade & Sorcery is pretty engaging, there's no doubt about that. However, after a point, some players might want a bit of variety and changes in these battles. This is where Slugga's Combat Overhaul comes into the picture. The changes it makes to the overall balance of the game ensure that fights are more brutal and realistic than ever before!
10 Lightsabers
Whenever a franchise has sword fighting of any kind, some fan editor finds a way to turn those swords into lightsabers. Throughout the Star Wars saga, Jedi Knights and Sith Lords wield these glowing weapons against their enemies. The blades can cut through virtually anything, making them a deadly tool even among blasters and other sci-fi gadgets.
This mod provides players with 23 lightsabers, and a choice of color for each one. Many of those assets are inspired by Jedi Academy, which is among the more revered dueling games in the Star Wars series. As an added touch, gamers can even throw the blades and recall them with the Force. This modder goes all out in authenticity (if not game balance).

Medieval weapons are the name of the game with Blade & Sorcery. The title brings some of the deadliest tools from European history into players' hands, but what about the Japanese side of things? During its long, feudal past, this country birthed its own share of weapons. Among the most famous is the katana.
Duelists everywhere can add this exotic weapon to their arsenal through this mod. As expected by its curved shape, it handles much differently than straight blades and longswords. The weapon specializes in rapid slices, which may throw opponents off guard. In addition, the mod includes blunt damage for enemies hit with the hilt. No samurai is complete without this weapon.
8 Wolverine Claws
In a game full of dismemberment, why not bring in someone who specializes in it? Wolverine is more merciless than most members of the X-Men and the Marvel pantheon. His metal claws complement his animalistic attitude, and he uses them both to slice through anyone in his way. Gamers have already experienced this cathartic rage in several titles.
This mod keeps his mantle alive. With all the ease and efficiency of hand-to-hand combat, players can carve up their enemies to their heart's content. Piercing and maiming are both programmed into the mod, making it as lethal as any conventional weapon. The claws are even retractable like the Canucklehead's own. They don't come with his healing factor, but that would make things too easy.
7 Thor's Hammer
Wolverine's claws aren't the only Marvel weapon on display. Eager fans can also wield Mjölnir, the fabled hammer of Thor. The Norse god wields this weapon against enemies both mortal and immortal, channeling the thunder and lightning to devastating effect.
That sense of spectacle holds true for this mod. Not only does the hammer have an incredible knockback with its base attacks, but holding it aloft infuses it with lightning for additional damage and projectile attacks. As the icing on the cake, players can spin their new toy to fly circles around their lowly opponents. Sure, this weapon is overpowered, but that's what makes it worthy of a deity.
6 World Wars Weapons Pack
Speaking of breaking the game, nothing shatters the illusion more than guns. It should come as a surprise to no one that global conflicts like World War I and II spawned a vast variety of firearms from each faction. While this mod doesn't capture the full scope of that selection, it does offer several choices for gun enthusiasts or fans of first-person shooters.
It's a mixed collection of U.S. And German tools from the aforementioned wars. Examples include the Karabiner 98k, the Colt 1911, knife bayonets, a few grenades, and even a shovel from the trenches. Any one of these is suitable for stopping melee warriors in their tracks. Enemies will be gunned down right after doing a double-take.
