"We are in the final stages of work on Silent Hill 2. We expect that a release date and platforms on which the game will appear will be revealed soon," said Babieno. The phrasing of this statement is a little bit odd, as the Silent Hill 2 remake has already been announced for PC and PS5. As such, it's possible that Bloober Team may reveal the additional platforms Silent Hill 2 will launch on after its timed exclusivity window is up.
When Will Bloober Team Reveal Silent Hill 2's Release Date?
Earlier this month, insiders like Jeff Grubb claimed that a PlayStation Showcase event featuring Silent Hill 2 would be happening sometime in May. He also suggested a potential release window for the remake, stating that it is on track for an end-of-2024 launch on both PS5 and PC. Grubb stated that Silent Hill 2 wouldn't be the only game focused on the event, meaning other PS5 titles will potentially get the spotlight as well.
