Where Is Vicar Amelia In Bloodborne

Vicar Amelia is the second mandatory boss players will face in Bloodborne. The nearest lantern players will need to reach is the Cathedral Ward, which is found right after beating Father Gascoigne, though the path will need to be opened first.

Bloodborne often has long distances between Lanterns and bosses, but shortcuts are hidden throughout the world to make consecutive attempts against a boss much easier. Here is the path to Vicar Amelia along with the shortcut to make it back easier on later attempts.

Where To Find Vicar Amelia In Bloodborne

Starting from the Cathedral Ward lantern, head down the stairs and head through the doorway on the right. In the next room will be an elevator with an enemy in a wheelchair with a gatling gun at the top. After defeating the enemy, turn around to find a bridge leading to the Healing Church Workshop. Follow the path to the right around the side of the tower to drop down to the lower floor of the tower. This floor will only be a wooden bridge, with you needing to drop down along the left side of the room to reach the floor below.

Fall damage is unavoidable, but should only be a little bit, so heal up after you take any fall damage to stay ready for the next drop. At the bottom of the tower will be a fairly strong beast that can use fire magic. Defeat the enemy and travel out the back door into the alleyway. There will be a tall bag-wielding enemy along the left side to watch out for, along with a pack of enemies coming from the alleyways ahead. At the cross-section, take the path to the left and up the elevator ahead.

At the top of the elevator will be a small ledge behind a large gate that can be opened using the lever off to the right. After using the lever follow the path to the right to reach a large staircase with many enemies along the levels above. At the top of the various staircases will be the Cathedral with Vicar Amelia inside. Enemies from the staircase won't follow you through the main doors, giving you a slight break to get ready for the boss fight if you choose to run past the enemies. When trying to fight Vicar Amelia, just remember:

Weak to Fire
Can heal herself in phase 2
Less defense against thrust and blood damage

Shortcut To Vicar Amelia

With the gate opened earlier, the path from the Cathedral Ward lantern to Vicar Amelia is much shorter. From the lantern, go out the door straight from the bottom of the staircase and follow the path to the right and up the stairs. At the top of the staircase will be the gate you previously opened, with only the other larger staircases being between you and the boss.
