Just by glancing at the title makes it rather obvious that the anime is going to focus on the players in Blue Lock as they take on Japan's Under-20 team.

What Can Fans Expect From The Second Season
Blue Lock's upcoming season will have a lot of crucial developments regarding the story. It will likely bring an end to Isagi and his rivals' journey to the top of Blue Lock. All of them were completely focused on reaching the top, no matter who stood in the way. With only a handful of spots left, the anime will rapidly wrap up this particular plot point.
The second half of the season will likely highlight the battle between the remaining members of Blue Lock and Japan's U-20 team. The match will be monumental as it is a chance for Blue Lock players to prove their worth to the entire country.
How Many Episodes Will Season Two Have
Blue Lock's season two is confirmed to have 14 episodes, which is ten shorter than the original. The decision to go down this path is questionable as Blue Lock's first season was a huge success. It even bolstered the manga sales. So, it would make more sense to have a longer season.
