How To Get Gold Coins in Blue Prince

Each day you spend exploring the ever-changing layout of the manor in Blue Prince will be different from the previous attempt. Even if you try to follow the same layout as much as possible, there are elements that will always be changing. To handle this random element, there are rooms you can find where you can purchase items that will help you in your quest to find the 46th Room. But you can't buy anything if you don't have any money, and that is why you want to be on the lookout for Gold Coins.

How to Get Gold Coins in Blue Prince

One of the most reliable ways of getting Gold Coins is to try and draft rooms that are guaranteed to have Gold Coins. The amount varies, but here are some rooms you will want to look out for, along with how many Cold Coins you will find.

Room Name	Amount of Gold Coins
Storeroom	1 Gold Coin
Pantry	4 Gold Coins
Rumpus Room	8 Gold Coins
Vault	40 Coins

The Gold Coins will usually be on some sort of surface like a table, countertop, or shelf, so keep a close eye out for them. Aside from places where they are guaranteed to spawn, Gold Coins can be found at random pretty much anywhere in the manor.

While this is random, you can improve the odds of coming across Gold Coins by finding or purchasing a Metal Detector. Not only does this increase the chances of Gold Coins and Keys spawning, but it will also beep when you are getting close.

Try to avoid going through the Chapel if you can. Every time you enter it, you lose one Gold Coin. This effect can be canceled out if you draft the Shelter in the Outer Room before you draft the Chapel.

You can also get bonus Gold Coins if you find the Coin Purse. With this item, you get one bonus Gold Coin for every three you find. Finally, once you've progressed far enough into the game, you can start each new day with a small amount of Gold Coins in an envelope on the table in the Entrance Hall.

You unlock this by finding Allowance Tokens, which can be obtained by completing certain puzzles. For example, solving the puzzle box in the Closed Exhibit will give you an Allowance Token.
